As I mentioned previously, I now own the tasks.biz domain. I didn’t go looking for it, I was approached in late 2005 by the fellow who owned the domain asking if I’d be interested in buying it.
My reaction was basically:
I don’t need it now, but it seems like something that could be useful to have in the future.
As such, I didn’t place a huge amount of value on the domain. I offered $50 and he counter offered at $2500. Needless to say, I didn’t end up buying it. 🙂
However, late last year (a year later) I was contacted again by the same fellow. Turns out he hadn’t sold the domain and it was about to expire, so he asked if my previous offer of $50 was still on the table.
Sure – I’ll take it for $50.
I still don’t have a current use for using the domain, so for now I’ve pointed it at the Tasks™ home page (kingdesign.net/tasks/). Maybe you have some suggestions.

Wow.. that is one hell of a deal! From 2.5k to just 50 bucks.. If I’m at your place, I would definitely get it too. With that kind of domain name,, you can create some organizing software for business people. Well ,that is my opinion. Good luck with this great domain.
