The Training team helps people learn to use, extend, and contribute to WordPress through synchronous and asynchronous learning as well as downloadable lesson plans for instructors to use in live environments, via learn.wordpress.org.

How can you contribute to the Training Team? How can you contribute to the Training Team?

There are several ways you can help:

  • Note-taking – take notes during our weekly meetings and post them on the team blog.
  • Writing – create lesson plans.
  • Copyediting – check lesson plans for grammar, spelling and punctuation and make sure it aligns with our style guide.
  • Testing – help run tests of beta lessons at Meetups or workshops and let us know how it went.
  • Auditing – check content for accuracy with the current version of WordPress.
  • Connecting – group lesson plans that together would coordinate for a course.
  • Reviewing – provide your expertise on a topic and identify gaps in the content on Learn WordPress.
  • Other – help with the management of the team such as helping with Support Flow tickets on “Make” or HelpScout, etc.
