What’s New

Version 18.6.1

- We've made it easier to see when there are new blocks available for use on your site
- You can now highlight text using the "mark" HTML tag, as well as change the text and background color of the Search block button. Shiny!
- We've hidden HTML tags in post titles when you're checking out your stats.
- If you're part of a comment thread, you can keep track of it through in-app notifications, not just your email inbox.
- The Help screen used to break out of its box when rotated from portrait to landscape and back to portrait, but now it's staying put.
- We fixed more cases where embed blocks would show "unable to display content", allowing you to see all of your content.

So well designed

I love things that work and are aesthetically pleasing. This app is one of them. It’s so clean and well designed, easy to use, customizable. I don’t usually leave reviews but I love it so much I wanted to share! It made checking Stats for my blog so much easier.

Difference between this and main WordPress app?

Not sure what the difference is between this and the main WordPress app. They seem functionally identical and both notify me of the same events. Why have both?

Developer Response ,

Hi! The WordPress mobile app can connect to any WordPress site, whereas the Jetpack app can only connect to WordPress sites connected to Jetpack. Also, the Jetpack app doesn't have the Reader feature to read posts and connect with other bloggers, so it's ideal for site administrators to manage their Jetpack-connected WordPress sites without too many distractions. I hope this clarifies!
