    I give Intermountain West Contractors (IWC) the highest possible recommendation for four reasons. A) the quality of the work is exemplary. I received pictures of the roof of before, during and after the roofing, including spots in need of specific repair. B) IWC’s follow-up and communication was commendable. I was given a schedule of what would happen and when; it was followed completely. I also had a few minor issues particular to our roof. ICW coordinated and scheduled the work with other contractors for the items they couldn’t take care of. C) The clean-up was remarkable! D) The price was very reasonable and the value of the IWC work was well worth the investment

    On September Labor Day 2020, Salt Lake area experienced one of their cold snap windstorms that easily takes out trees and damages roofs. Our aging roof lost enough shingles for an insurance claim and we called around for a contractor. Many were already swamped with calls after the storm and couldn't come out until a couple months into winter. RoofTek was the only one that offered to come out for a quote sooner than others and didn't seem annoyed about it. We were able to to add on extra jobs like replacing the fascia board, wrap and replace the gutters that were just as old as the roof. Due to the Covid restrictions and supply chain interruptions, the installation crew wasn't able to get to our roof until the middle of January, but it was mild enough weather to do it. They didn't mind taking off the unused swamp cooler and a really old roof vent that did nothing. They added in more attic/roof vents to my 1954 house to improve the attic circulation. They also replaced a lot of roof decking that was very water damaged from the previous owners that installed the drip edge and water barrier incorrectly. It was a soggy mess of splinters. The roofing crew tore off and replaced my entire roof in one day. It was amazing how quickly and efficiently they did it. The team to replace the fascia board, wrap and gutters were able to come out about 3 weeks later, and also finished that work in the day. I was able to call the company any time and ask about the progress on my contract, and they were always pleasant to talk to and give me satisfactory answers on the timeline. The pricing is reasonable compared to the quality work they offer. It was about what I expected compared to the cost of my parent's roof the previous time a windstorm made a mess. I'd gladly refer me neighbors to this company

    M & M exteriors was recommended to me by a friend who was having some work done on her home. I explained my need, and the work was done the next day. Here’s the best part: I needed a new downspout, and the company that originally installed the gutters had removed the one I installed, saying it was unnecessary. M & M made the same diagnosis, that it was unnecessary, but when I explained that experience showed that it was, they installed the downspout without argument. That is respect for the customer! The work was performed swiftly and expertly, and I am most pleased with the result. I would rehire, and I have already recommended to a colleague. Professional, affordable, fast.     When they pulled down my old gutters, zero care was taken. They simply dropped them from the roof, hitting and knocking over a yard art piece, nearly missed hitting my smoker and let them fall on wires hooked to my house nearly pulling down my internet connection. When I called my rep, his statement was " huh, they are usually more careful" which I translated to be, no one is usually home and catches us. When they came to install, we had some of our flashing moved from the power wash and painting and instead of making sure there were no gaps, they simply nailed up the gutters and didn't care to make sure things were okay. While I understand that should be on me, the pride in making sure things were right was missing. I talked to my rep again and stated I wanted some credit against the extra money I paid for the removal due to their carelessness and he told me they don't refund but would send me a gift card to Outback Steakhouse... still waiting. I will say that the installers were polite, efficient and hard workers other than they left screws all over the roof and a water bottle in one of the gutters causing me to have to go up and bring it down along with all the extra screws just left laying around. I cannot recommend them to people I know wanting the same service. My neighbors also had new gutters put up and I had to tell them not to engage superior. My hope is that they use this information to put a better foot forward with new customers
