About the role:

Angi’s Operations team is seeking a construction professional to join one of the most recognizable home services brands in North America. This position is a unique opportunity for an experienced state qualifier or active license holder to join the tech sector. The role is part of Angi’s exciting expansion into managing projects for consumers.  

What you'll do

  • Assist the company in obtaining contracting licenses in multiple jurisdictions, and ensuring the company’s compliance with licensing requirements;
  • Support the development of a scalable process for tracking certifications, qualifications, insurance, and licensure

Who you are

  • A state qualifier or active license holder in one or more of the following states:
    • Nevada: General Building Contractor
    • Arizona: General Residential Contractors License (Class B) or General Remodeling and Repair Contractor License (B-3)
    • Utah: General Contractors License
    • New Mexico: General Contractors License
  • 5+ years construction experience as a journeyman, foreman, or owner-builder
  • Prior experience as a state qualifier or the qualifying individual for purposes of a company’s general contractor license is a plus!
  • Working knowledge of construction industry practices and compliance requirements
  • Must be able to communicate to cross-functional management in concise, easily understood terms
  • Ability to handle confidential data with appropriate discretion
  • Excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and sense of accountability and integrity
  • Solid customer service focus and ability to identify issues, resolve problems, and drive projects to completion
  • Trustworthy, positive, energetic, optimistic attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets) is a plus
