"Love this software!"
Posted 2021-05-03Pros: The self-service model has been so helpful to our team members and our HR dept of 1. We have been able to keep everything secure while still providing our team members access to the necessary information they need.
Cons: I wish they integrated with more softwares. They have some but not a lot.
Overall: We love Namely. The team has been fantastic to work with and it has changed how we do business here. As an HR dept of 1, it has made my life so much easier.

"Namely Makes it Easier"
Posted 2021-04-21Pros: I like that the system is all in one. I can link to applicant tracking, onboard, Everify, house documents, complete reviews, manage benefits and keep employee information all in one place. I also love that this company continues to improve their product and communicates well about product enhancements and plans.
Cons: There is a lot you can customize but there are a few things still a bit clunky at times. For example, I would like to be able to add as many one off additional compensation on a check without having to upload a specific document.
Overall: We have been with Namely for less than a year and so far I am pleased with our decision. We are less than 50 people and I have learned a lot about the system and capabilities in such a short time and continually learning. I see us being able to grow and scale with this platform. I believe in the company themselves and what they stand for. It is a great partnership.

Posted 2021-04-15Pros: The team is responsive and helpful when submitting a case. They really helped me a lot when I was new and they were patient.
It has all I need in a way that is easy to use. I like the onboarding with the templates that can be sent that way for signatures.
My Namely benefits rep was very helpful and I had direct access to him (poor guy). When I started at the company, I jumped right into open enrollment.Cons: Reporting is not super user friendly.
There is no synch with PTO and payroll for those who do not fill out a timesheet.
You can't just pick up the phone and talk to support when in a pinch (but there are options for urgent and call me if you need to - but I hesitate to use those).Overall: I am happy with Namely. I think it has everything we need. Everyone in support has been helpful and responsive. They offer good webinars too to stay on top of new features and options.

"Overall Excellent Product"
Posted 2021-04-15Pros: Streamlined UI and integrations for all parts of employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance, offboarding).
Cons: There are certain features hard coded in ways that don't make sense all the time, or labels that don't make sense (ex. classes should really be benefit classes). Another example would be our org's issues with using the timetracking functionality, we had to restructure our pay periods in order to use it instead of just being able to customize it.
Overall: Overall the system is light years better than the one that we used to use. There are some hiccups along the way, but that can be expected with any tool.

Pros: One stop shop for almost all HR needs. Implementation is fantastic. Namely is very responsive to consumer feedback and is constantly making upgrades to address the ever-changing HR needs.
Cons: Namely Time is a little cumbersome to get used to and has some quirks that aren't intuitive.
Overall: I love Namely and am very happy to be back. Would highly recommend them for mid-large size businesses scaling quickly who want a system that will address most HR needs in a single platform while allowing flexibility.

Pros: Performance Management tracking is much more organized and efficient than our prior process (all on paper). Everything is automated and tracked using Namely. Tracking PTO is also fantastic.
Cons: Price is a bit high for the services we use.
Overall: I would highly recommend Namely if you are still using paper processes for staff directories, performance management or PTO tracking.

Pros: System is 100% user-friendly, easy to navigate and has a lot of great features used by our HR and Finance teams. The analytical tools and features are also great and already built in and customer service support is one of the best I've seen!
Cons: I wish reporting could be done a little more seamlessly in the system - often have to download and filter reports in Excel once pulled. Overall though, the system is great and works well.
Overall: The Namely team is amazing! Very knowledgable, there to help at the drop of the hat and the system has been the best HRIS I've used so far.

Pros: Namely is very easy to use. It is designed like most social media sites and is fairly straightforward.
It is very customizable in terms of setting up things like PTO plans, different types of reviews, and holidays.Cons: There are a ton of glitches that have been happening since the beginning of 2020, and the team doesn't seem to be staffed enough to handle issues. The glitches happen repeatedly, after the team says they are solved.
It is very difficult to get in contact with anyone, whether over the phone, chat, or through submitting a case, for a least a week.Overall: If Namely hired more staff, handled issues as they came in, and was more proactive, the service would be much much better and they wouldn't be losing customers.

Pros: Namely offers comprehensive HR tools within a single platform. It is a full fledge HR software which helps streamlining the most of HR role from a single dashboard. It offers employee engagement management, talent management, payroll processing and calculation benefits and leave administration. Logging the time and attendance.
Cons: It's a great HR management solution. I didn't found anything serious to report.
Overall: Namely helps to streamline overall HR operations. The payroll calculation and management feature is seamless. It allows very easy managing of the benefits, deductions, detailed reporting, simple tax filing without much manual intervention. The time and attendance management suite offers complete control over the time tracking and managing the attendance automatically. it offers completely working mobile application which can be used for all day to day tasks, leave management and punching attendance.

Pros: Namely help us to manage all our HR data easily. It's HR, benefits and payroll platform. User friendly interface. Some of its main features are benefit administration, payroll, HR compliance database, talent management, employee engagement and many more. Cloud based software.
Cons: Pricing could be little less otherwise perfect software, easy to use. No cons.
Overall: Good software for small businesses. Features are clear. Payroll feature helps us to file tax, detailed reporting, year end reporting. Saves lots of time and energy. Topnotch software. Mobile app is there. Robust onboarding tool. Easy to navigate.
