Group rules from the admins

1
Be Kind and Courteous
Be kind and courteous, never hateful, defamatory, or bullyish. See our Code of Conduct (on our website) for behavior we expect or do not tolerate.
2
Contribute Your Knowledge and Ideas
Contribute your knowledge and ideas, not your self-interested sales pitch. This group isnโ€™t about pitching your product or service. Itโ€™s about giving value to conversations with your peers.
3
Do Your Research
Ask advanced questions, not plugin/theme recommendations or easily Googleable inquiries. While this can be subjective, itโ€™s a defining trait of AWP. See our โ€œFilesโ€ for other FB group recommendations.
4
Comment constructively
When you respond, give the author the benefit of the doubt. Asking clarifying questions is welcome. But always be constructive and kind, never attacking or dismissive.
5
AWP is Not Technical Support
If you have a problem with a theme or plugin, or general WordPress trouble, use appropriate support channels, Google the problem, or reach out via other Tech Support FB groups.
6
No bare links & no colored backgrounds.
We value discussion in AWP. Sharing bare links is not allowed, you can try reposting your link here with some added context explaining what you think about the link and why it's relevant to other members here to begin a conversation.

No Job Posts
While there are many freelancers in this group, we want to focus on advanced topics, not hiring. We encourage everyone to post their jobs instead on jobs.wordpress.net which is a great resource.
