    The O*NET 26.1 Database adds alternate titles and technology skills from job postings and other sources. This release transitioned technology and tools information based on the latest version of the UNSPSC. Job Zones and Level Anchors were also updated.

    The O*NET 26.0 Database release includes data from job incumbents and occupational experts for 821 O*NET-SOC occupations, of which 100 occupations were updated in this release. Alternate and Reported Titles, Detailed Work Activities, and some Level Scale Anchors are also updated.

    The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has released wage estimates for 2020. The latest wages are now included in career reports within O*NET OnLine, My Next Move, Mi Próximo Paso, and My Next Move for Veterans.

    The new Work Activities Competency Framework is a hierarchy of Work Activities competencies, including generalized, intermediate, and detailed work activities. Linked occupation-specific tasks from across occupations provide over 21,000 “task examples” related to the activities.

    On November 17, 2020 the O*NET Center will release the O*NET 25.1 Database that incorporates the O*NET-SOC 2019 Taxonomy structure. In addition, at that time, the O*NET websites and O*NET Web Services will also transition to the new structure.
