    In one year, has trained Soldiers so well they awarded 500 EIBs, 150 ESBs, and 50 EFMBs. Any DIV CSMs think they’ve got those numbers beat? setting a high bar for the E3B.

    I am, however, skeptical of how quickly non combat arms units - or even units in the Guard/Reserve who just get less opportunities to shoot in a given year, adapt. I bet the huge bulk of troops only shoot their Q and zero every year - and the new qual might be a lot.

    The mag changes, and firing from cover were smart additions. Much more applicable to real world shooting. I do think it’s really important to do a live Table V practice shoot - and maybe another Table V EST just to practice the movements.

    Finally got to try the new Army rifle qual. Was one short of expert, so there’s room for improvement - but I think it’s a phenomenally better test than the old IWQ.

    Also there is only about 600 troops with expert soldier badges, 150 of which in 10th Mountain. But it might be hard to motivate non combat arms troops to train for test that’s all about combat skills.
