Crystal Blue Aquatics built a fantastic pool in our backyard over the summer of 2015. Jason and his crew were a pleasure to work with. We talked to several other pool builders but ultimately decided that Crystal Blue Aquatics was the right choice for us. It was very important to us that whoever we chose to build our pool was responsive and Jason has always responded to texts, emails and phone calls mostly within an hour or so, you won't get that with other builders. Lots of choices on materials that are top notch included in the base price, no skimping on the quality at all. We upgraded to a paver patio around the pool that stays cool even in direct sunlight. We also upgraded from a standard white plaster to SGM Diamond Brite in a French Grey finish. Jason came to our house during the design process and sat with us in our kitchen with his computer and worked on custom designing our pool. He came up with some cool ideas that he incorporated into the design that we would never have gotten with another builder. Jason was on site with his guys every day and managed the project very well. He provided a project schedule that I thought would be impossible to meet however he ended up beating the schedule and had us swimming in our pool for a party we had planned before we ever signed the contract. Price of the pool was very competitive with other custom builders but he included all the extras at the base price. Looking forward to having Crystal Blue Aquatics service our pool going forward.

They helped me design the pool and the person who helped me design it was very imaginative.  Everybody was great.  It took them about a month to complete the job.  They did a good job and were professional.  The pool still looks great.

After visiting several pool building companies, we chose Omni Pool Builders and Design for their professionalism, quality of product used and quality of workmanship. The process went very smoothly and their time lines were realistic for completion. The employees are very knowledgeable and addressed any questions we had. I would definitely recommend Omni Pool Builders and Design for anyone considering building a new pool. We had a great experience!

The timing worked out great because we started the process in the fall and that gave them time to work with the city to obtain all the necessary permits and they started the work in about February.  By the end of August, most of the hardscapes and the pool were done.  We were impressed with the personalization of the process and walking us through the sale of the pool.  And we’re ecstatic with the outcome.

He dose landscaping but he also does design work. He is very good at it. For any pool design, patio design and landscaping design I would call J & G Landscaping company. I think he prices his job. He comes out generally and will give me an estimate then I can decide what I can afford and what I don’t want. He comes out and looks at the landscape and he listens to what the home owner wants. Then he will prepare a bid and it’s a written bid. I keep using them because of their professionalism. They are a mark of a very good company especially in landscaping. The people that work for Jeff and his brother Greg, they stay with the company. They have a real dedication to their workers and their workers are well paid. I am impressed with that. During the holidays they do all kinds of things with their workers. They have family events for their worker’s family. This is hard, hard back breaking work. They are apparently paying them very well and they are treating them very well. That’s the kind of company I hire. I will not say they are cheap. I have Jeff come out and we talk about what’s going to be done. He doesn’t bargain. I get a fair days jobs work for a fair days pay. He is worth it. Given the fact that he pays his people well, I wouldn’t want him to cut corners. I have an appointment with him in 2 weeks.

This is an outstanding company whose staff from top down  is highly dedicated to superb diagnostic and design approaches to all pool issues.

I contacted NVBlu about installing a swimming pool, hardscape and coordinating landscaping in my Arlington backyard. They insisted on sending their landscape design company representative to my home before discussing a pool. The landscape designer was very professional and knowledgeable. When we told him what our reasonable budget was, we were told that the cost would be twice that amount. and that they could not provide a completed project that we would be happy with. Before the landscape designer left our home, he told us he would send us a contract requiring $2000 to design the pool, and landscaping, but with no promises to be anywhere near our stated budget. We found another company that could provide everything we wanted and within our budget.

I had a design agent that came to my home and spent three hours planning the entire design of the pool and spa. I chose a free form mountain lake pool that is 500 square feet and 1800 gallons. It also has a 340 gallon spa with a 500 square feet deck surrounding it. They showed up each day when expected and were always on time. They did a fantastic job and love the finished product. I would highly recommend Anthony & Sylvan Pools.

Overall we are so very pleased with the beautiful pool that Baldwin pools built for our family.  The price was more than fair and the quality of the pool and decking is outstanding.  Mary and team were very flexible as we made changes to the design to customize the pool to fit our unique needs.  The bottom line is that it looks amazing!.  (See attached pics and you can judge for yourself.) The only downside was the length of time it took to build the pool.  We had an aggressive idea on when the pool could/would be completed and had hopes of getting a couple of weeks of swimming in last season.  Unfortunately we didn't make it in time for fall/winter (hence the lower grade on punctuality).  The good news is that the extra time gave us a chance to make some design changes to the pool/landscaping and we were first up to finish this spring.

Design is poor. Cannot pay anyone else to even close it out of fear of being liable for damaging it. When initially installed they left broken left broken gauge Place rather than put in working one because we had another gauge at other location. Once done with build just left with no instructions on how to operate or maintain. Crappy parts and poor design have caused cleaner to never work. Heater has failed before even 1 yr old. Thoroughly disappointed. Do not buy from these guys.

They did an excellent job. The consultant talked with us and designed a pool of our dreams. He was outstanding as he had 40 years of experience. Pretty much everything went as expected and it all turned out beautifully. We were also impressed with the project manager who was at our beckon call. He got back to us quickly whenever we had questions. We would highly recommend them and we would definitely hire them again.

We generally think quite highly of their work. Their design service was superb, and the construction took place mostly on time. There was an underground leak after the pool was filled, and this took some time to find and repair, but find it and repair it Town & Country did. They also had great subs for everything (except the fencing -- I would avoid Long Fence). My only real complaint is that at times it takes a week or so for them to get back to us when there is a problem. In general though we are quite satisfied. We have an excellent quality pool, beautifully designed. Ric Wugalter, our point man at T&C, is a very good guy.

I truly wish things would have worked out with them. I had my initial appointment and the salesman arrived on time and went through everything. The product seemed excellent and price was higher than most but not unreasonable. That's where it all stopped. When the salesman left he took measurements and said he would get back to me with the design and go from there. This would have easily been a 100K+ project. I was ready to move forward and start the design but he just disappeared after that. Not a single response. The main office followed up and I told them what happened and they also didn't respond. Very unprofessional, especially since anyone trying to build a pool will easily spend over 70K.

Initial meeting for pool design was great! Once work started, it became more frustrating. Contractors were bad about leaving a mess from oil stains in the driveway to side lawn being completely torn up. The compensation by A&S was not adequate as they were gift cards that couldn't repair my driveway or side yard. Underground drains were to be completed per contract have still yet to be done. Very frustrating!

We obtained three quotes from companies listed on Angie's List. Knox pools was in the middle, but their history on Angie's List tilted us in their direction.  We had an idea on what we wanted, but Gary, the project manager, suggested several changes that in the end were right on target and we are very grateful for his suggestions to make our pool a much more enjoyable experience. He also insisted we visit other residences where Know installed pools so we could get an idea of design and see the quality of their work.  A few highlights: The person responsible for laying the decking tiles is a true artist and craftsman! His work is amazing. Gary was available by text and phone when we had questions. The workers arrived, got to work right away and did a good job. The pool care worker who conducted pool school with me did a great job and offered great tips. The staff at Knox's showroom are helpful and friendly.  A few suggestions to those wanting to install pools - read the local code and ensure you have pool barriers properly installed BEFORE going forward. We had a glitch when it came time for inspections that set us back a few weeks and caused a little heartache. Check and double check any current fencing you have to ensure you meet local code and then ensure you coordinate with your pool builder to ensure your inspections are in the correct order.  We now have a beautiful back yard escape.

The pool is not completed yet, so this is based on the work done so far. We had a bad experience with a previous contractor as was wary of going through the experience again. This team convinced us that we chose the right direction and I wished we had chosen them to start. Professional, courteous and smart. Just what you need for a challenging project. Constant updates and notes to keep us informed of progress and any issues before anything get out of hand. No surprises and great work. We are looking forward to the final delivery in the spring and will update accordingly. Update - Pool was completed in spring of 2014. We live in a very challenging community which required additional planning and modification of our pool design. (When our house was built they literally had to blow up the ground for the basement). The company remained very flexible in the design work and put together an excellent redesign to accommodate all the rock under the lawn. Wound up with a unique "oasis" that our neighbors have continued to comment about. Customer response has been excellent and the pool service team was outstanding throughout the entire season. I've included some pictures of the work. Would highly recommend the company and certainly would work with them in the future.

We are very happy with the product. The workman ship is phenomenal, and their attention to detail shows. Everyone who see it is breath taken. The water falls, decking, and the stonewall are amazing. We had previous landscape work in the back yard and they made sure all of our trees were good! They did their best to make sure everything survived. They walked us through every stop of the design process. They made a suggestion to do a larger Spa and we are very happy we took the sales mans advice, he really looked out for our interest and they are top notch. Everything was worth the price.

We contacted this company to get an estimate for construction of a new pool at our house. The guy who came to do the extimate did not provide any details, did not bring any pictures/ plans with him.  Anytime we asked a question, he would say "whatever you want, we can do anything" and did not give any suggestions in terms of the design, type of tile etc. After the estimate we had to keep contacting him to get a formal plan and estimate.

The project was to install a new pool from scratch. We started in Oct with the design of the pool. Overall the design process went well. The excavation took place in December and the concrete for the walls went in in Jan. From here, the schedule completely fell apart. Despite the amount of money you will pay for the pool, you as the customer will be expected to perform a lot of the oversight of the sub contractors and you are on the hook to clean up after them. March turned into April. By late April, we had figured out that our project manager had left the pool company. Our project made slow progress but by mid May the pool pump equipment was installed. By early June the pool deck was poured and the water was put in by the end of June. Despite having a new project manager, you will not see the PM on days when big events are happening, you will be on your own to make sure the project is put in correctly and that the sub contractors clean up after themselves. It is now late August and the pool has failed county inspection three times for various different issues. Do you expect hiccups along the way on a big project like a pool - Yes and we had quite a few. After all was said and done, A&S corporate headquarters stepped in and is doing what they can to ensure the project gets finished in the manner it should of be. Will you get a pool installed - Yes. Will you have to do a lot of supervision - Yes. However, for the amount of money that you will spend and how long you will look at the final product, I find it difficult to recommend using this company.
