    ... Please make a stand, too... ...I'm not asking for you to resign from the party (I haven't... yet...)... But from Starmer's Shadow Team, yes I am...!!! Starmer's blatant disregard for the recommendations and Labour's own rules cannot be supported...!!!

    Today I and four fellow Lancaster City Councillors resigned our Labour Party Membership and in doing so became Independent Cllrs. My socialist principles have not change since being elected but I do not feel comfortable representing a party which no longer mirror these ideals.

    Acc to this story in ⁦⁩ the new commissioner believes that working class women have been deprived of jobs they love, such as being Page3 girls, & that women should find way round discrimination rather than complain about it

    An admission from David Goodhart on that he writes about people about whom he has no first hand experience; relates to his appointment to the but charge of too much subjectivism is a distraction from his own selective bias. Am I alone in finding him disingenuous?

    The government broke equalities law according to EHRC & pursued policies that were institutionally racist against black people. What consequences are there going to be for Theresa May, Sajid Javid, Boris Johnson & Priti Patel?

    Going through my recently deceased dad's entry papers to the UK I see he came from Trinidad with a British passport. He probably didn't even consider himself an immigrant but a British subject moving around the Empire. That is what makes the Windrush scandal so scandalous.
