    Hello,

I already created a topic before but haven’t been here for a while. I couldn’t find my topic so I created a new one now.

I have a problem with setting a location to new generated jobs. The following screen shows how my backend looks while creating a new job: Screenshot

The plugin an WordPress are both updated to the newest version.

    Thanks in advance,
    Hannah

    Hey braehler,
    thank you for your answer.

I created a new API key but it still doesn’t work.

    Can you provide an URL?

Strange, I do not see any kind of api working.
Have you enabled the “Geocoding API” in your key?
And did you enable the billing on the project?
Be sure to set any Referrer restrictions to “None” on your API key.

    What theme are you running?

    Hey braehler,

    sorry for the late reply.

I am running Ronneby theme. But I’m using the theme on several projects and normally WP Job Manager works.

I created two new APIs to try but none worked. How can I set all these options to my API key? I don’t see any information.

    Thanks.

    Hi!

You can set those options in the API console.

At the same time, though, I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be seeing from your screenshot, and out of the 2 jobs on your site, only one of them has a location set, and it’s only a city name. So, can you provide a bit more detail about what your inputting and what happens exactly?

    Thanks!

    Good morning Richard,

I am not able to type anything into the field. It is deactivated and due to the strange signs I am not able to place the cursor into the field.
One jobs that has a clear defined location was copied from another web project. The other two have been created to test if it works. If I do not fill in anything the job location is “Everywhere” which is definitely not correct. It always has to be one special location.

    Hi!

I’m sorry, but I still don’t understand exactly why the problem is and the steps to reproduce it. Still, I suspect that it may be an issue with the theme, possibly. Try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme via Appearance > Themes, and test again. If the issue is resolved then you know it’s a problem with the theme, and you’ll need to contact the theme author for further assistance.

Let us know how it goes.
