In October, work on WordPress 5.9 continued as planned.
- Introducing Twenty Twenty-Two, the new default theme.
- WordPress 5.8.2 Deferred
- The next release has an almost complete squad now
- Bug scrubs continue to be held, everyone is invited to join!
GutenbergGutenberg The Gutenberg project is the new Editor Interface for WordPress. The editor improves the process and experience of creating new content, making writing rich content much simpler. - Gutenberg 11.7 and 11.8 were released.
- Gutenberg 11.6 added support for thunks
