This was not the main support I received from WordPress. However, I am very happy with wordpress.

However, my original problem was an upgrade to WordPress 5.8.1 and a conflict with Jetpack. However, following previous directions and ignoring internal post advice that links were broken. Ended up with me having a corrupted sitemap and also most of my posts not being able to to be Indexed on Google.

Although some of this was my fault as I did not twig the problem for nearly a month. I am amazed the amount of trouble I got into doing a routine upgrade on WordPress and relying on erasing and uploading Jetpack. I doubt that I’ll ever recover my Indexing position. And I will always be paranoid about WordPress upgrades and Jetpack.
