IGC: What is Happening Now

Recent developments in the WIPO Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore (IGC).

• The WIPO General Assembly, which took place from September 30 to October 9, 2019, agreed on the renewal of the mandate of the IGC for the 2020-2021 biennium, as well as the work plan for the IGC for the biennium.
• IGC 41 will take place from August 30 to September 3, 2021.
