Early Bird Rates: Register by February 1, 2022, for early bird rates. Rates will increase for standard registration February 2–March 31, 2022.
Attention Proposal Submitters: HLC will send information to presenters on registering for the conference after making final decisions on proposed presentations in December. Because presenters are eligible for discounted registration fees, do not register until you receive a decision on your proposal. Registrations made prior to notification may not be eligible for applicable discounts.
Payment Options: HLC accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Group Registrations: When registering multiple attendees, please have each person’s contact information and program selections ready. The General Program will begin on Saturday, April 2 at 5:30pm CT, running through Tuesday, April 5 at Noon CT. Pre-conference programs will take place on Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2, 2022.
The Seeking Accreditation Workshop (formerly Eligibility Workshop) and select sessions of the General Program will be available virtually. All other programs will take place in Chicago.
Registered attendees of the General Program at the 2022 Annual Conference will be able to:
Access all in-person, live and recorded sessions, including the Welcome Address, Keynotes and Closing Address, as well as presentations by HLC and member institutions.
Access all networking breaks and continental breakfasts on Sunday and Monday (April 3-4).
Connect with other attendees, speakers and exhibitors in person and through the mobile app.
Identify and “favorite” sessions for easy access on-site and virtually.
Connect at your convenience to view sessions up to 60 days after the conference has concluded.
View Academy Posters either on-site or through the Virtual Poster Fair.
Access exhibitor showcases to explore the latest products and services from sponsors and exhibitors.
Additional fees will be charged for pre-conference programs (the Effective Administrators Workshop, Supporting Student Success Workshop, Seeking Accreditation Workshop, Peer Corps Program and Presidents Program).

Please note, many pre-conference programs do not offer a virtual option and additional fees apply.
Register by February 1, 2022 to take advantage of early bird rates. Standard rates will then be available until April 1, after which on-site registration rates will apply through the end of the conference (see Program Fees ).
All content will be available for 60 days following the conclusion of the conference.
Presentations will be live for the in-person audience, live streamed for the virtual audience and pre-recorded in some scenarios. In-person and virtual presenters will be monitoring chat and Q&A throughout their presentation regardless of delivery method.
To attend the virtual conference, you need a stable internet connection, a device or computer, and a valid registration.
All sessions will be listed in Central Time.
Preliminary schedule details will be available through the event website in early February. Full schedule details will be available prior to the conference to allow attendees to select their preferred sessions.
This program is limited to the Chief Executive Officer and Trustees from member and non-member institutions. No substitutions are permitted. Registration is limited to four attendees per institution.
Current members of the Peer Corps are welcome to attend this program to refresh their skills and gain new knowledge of pathways processes. The program is designed for experienced peer reviewers who have already participated in accreditation activities, though newly trained and less experienced peer reviewers will certainly find it informative. Except as noted in the final program, this program does not constitute the specific training that may be required for certain peer review roles.
The Accreditation Program, intended for attendees whose institutions have an upcoming accreditation reaffirmation or visit, will not be offered during the 2022 Annual Conference but will be taking place as a separate event in Fall 2022.

You will not be able to complete any registrations until a payment method has been confirmed. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. The invoice will be included in the confirmation email after your registration has been submitted. Checks must be received within 30 days of the registration date. Registration Changes and Cancellations
Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be sent to HLC in writing using the online cancellation form . Refunds resulting from cancellations will be based on the following dates:
Cancellations requested on or before January 10, 2022, will be eligible for a full refund less a $75 processing fee per person.
Cancellations requested between January 11, and March 31, 2022, will be eligible for a 50% refund less a $75 processing fee per person.
No-shows or cancellations requested on or after April 1, 2022, are not eligible for a refund.
Registration Transfers
If a registered attendee is unable to attend the Conference, their registration may be transferred to another person who is not already registered for the Conference at the same institution or organization at no additional charge. Transfers can be made by calling 866.497.1232.
Program Changes
A $50 processing fee will be charged for all requests to remove a program from an existing Conference registration. Attendees will be refunded the cost of the program, less the processing fee, on or before March 31, 2022. No refunds for requests to remove a program from an existing Conference registration will be issued on or after April 1, 2022.
Refunds
Credit card refunds will be processed within three to five business days. Check refunds will be processed within 15 business days of receiving the request.
