How we Are Organised

As displayed in the organisational chart below, the structure of agof is made up of the General Assembly as the central body, the Board, the committees reporting directly to the association, the Internet and Mobile Sections, which are largely independent in terms of their respective medium, as well as the committees mentioned below.

General Assembly (AMV):

The General Assembly is the decisive executive body of agof in all matters. It consists of all ordinary members of the Internet and Mobile Sections.

Board:

The General Assembly elects the agof Board for a period of two financial years, and re-election is possible. It comprises the Chairman, Vice Chairman and at least one other member, the Treasurer.

Marketing/PR:

Marketing/PR is responsible for all of agof ’s marketing, press and public relation activities.

Online Media Planning Commission (KOP):

The Online Media Planning Commission is responsible for all topics relevant to online media planning. In particular, it deals with the expansion and development of the planning tool TOP modular, being the interface to the market, especially to media agencies.

Commission Performance Values & Guidelines (KLR):

The Commission Performance Values & Guidelines is the authoritative body for defining rules and regulations for quality assurance in the context of digital advertising. In particular, it deals with the development of quality standards for all relevant procedures for ad and audience verification.

Internet Section:

The Internet Section comprises all marketers specialised on the respective digital media channel. They control and take responsibility for the conceptual design, provision and further development of media coverage research activities and planning parametres in their segment of digital economy – the stationary Internet. The central decision-making body is the Section Assembly, which also elects the Managing Board of the Section. It controls the Technical Commission Internet and the working groups Methodological Questions, Performance Values & Definitions as well as Technical Metrics & Data Protection.

Mobile Section:

The Mobile Section comprises all marketers specialised on the respective digital media channel. They control and take responsibility for the conceptual design, provision and further development of media coverage research activities and planning parametres in their segment of the digital economy – the mobile Internet. The central decision-making body is the Section Assembly, which also elects the Managing Board of the Section. It controls the Technical Commission Mobile.
