Support » Plugin: oEmbed Plus » not all pull through

  • We have tested on a post that required 5 Instagram embeds. Only 1 of them displays and funny enough all of the show on AMP but not the normal/standard wordpress. In the editor managed to get them all to show now, embed. But, front-end after cache clears it is only showing 1.

    The resulting HTML content are cached at WordPress, so it’s unlikely the plugin made different API calls for AMP and standard page view.

    Do you see any errors in browser console log? What do you see when the post is published? It is possible that Instagram has rate limited your IP address. They often rate-limit browsers specially after they stopped showing content without logging in. This is different from the APP rate limit, which is set to 5 million per day per.

    it is a new app on FB and new post created today so no rate limits are in place and no console errors either. with great effort I got almost all of them working accept 1 for the life of me it won’t embed. in the preview all good and we have WP Rocket so I flushed cache and oEmbed cache as well with no luck

    Hi, and thanks for a good plugin! We work with a number of multisites and the environment variable config option is much appreciated.

    We also face a similar issue where a few of the multisites have no issues with embeds, while some other multisites on the same server fail with the embed.

    On the sites where the embeds fail, we see the following error (I removed the specific trace ID:

    {"error":{"message":"Error validating application. Cannot get application info due to a system error.","type":"OAuthException","code":190,"fbtrace_id":"xx-xx"},"html":false}

    The request URL:
