Responding to WordPress 15th Anniversary Swag Requests

For communities where COVID-19 has been more effectively contained or have easy access to COVID-19 vaccination and/or testing, returning to hosting an in-person meetupMeetup Meetup groups are locally-organized groups that get together for face-to-face events on a regular basis (commonly once a month). If you plan to move forward with an in-person meetup, you must use the provided checklist .

First, click through the URLURL A specific web address of a website or web page on the Internet, such as a website’s URL www.wordpress.org provided.

If the URL leads you to a scheduled event for the 15th Anniversary,

  • check to see if the group is part of the chapter program.
  • If both those conditions are met, then check to ensure that the address provided looks complete.
  • If everything looks right, then respond with the predefined reply titled, “WP15 Request Received“.
  • Add tag “ok-to-ship”.

If the address is incomplete, but the party is scheduled and the group’s in the chapter, then ask them to complete/correct the address via email.

If the URL provided doesn’t take you to a scheduled event for the 15th Anniversary, check to see if the group is part of the chapter program. If the group isn’t part of the chapter program, then respond with the predefined reply titled, “WP15 Not a Chapter Meetup“.

If the group is part of the chapter but hasn’t scheduled the party yet, then respond with the predefined reply titled, “WP15 No Party Scheduled“.
