PG Connects Digital NEXT
New Markets / New Technology / New Opportunities

The leading online mobile gaming industry conference, Pocket Gamer Connects Digital, is back.

The ninth of our 100% online conferences will focus on everything that's new and exciting in the mobile game space and beyond.

Where is the money being made in the world? What are the new trends in game design? How has the pandemic affected our industry? Who are tomorrow's gamers? What do the metaverse, transmedia and digital convergence mean for your business?

And as part of this, your ticket to Pocket Gamer Connects Digital NEXT also includes access to the two-day online conference Beyond Games taking place the same week.

Preparing You For The Future

If you work in the digital entertainment industries - or aspire to - this is the place for you. It's an online event for the global games industry. You will log on to see expert talks and panels by over 200 professionals in the field, plus network and do business around the clock on our meeting platform.

A Pocket Gamer Connects or Beyond Games online conference is the perfect way to meet, learn from, and do business with some 1,200 games industry professionals, and well over 210 speakers.

What Will You Discover?
We've run 27 Connects events now since 2014, and since 2020 we moved them online because of the Covid-19 pandemic. But just because you're familiar with the format, don't think you've seen it all before! Pocket Gamer Connects Digital NEXT will take place100% online, and feature new track themes, new fringe events, and new video content designed to look to the future.

You can expect three days of talks and panels streamed over the web. There'll be a MeetToMatch meeting platform as usual which will enable remote attendees to connect over the internet.

Talks & Panels

New topic areas for this exclusive event include Mastering New Markets, Revenue Roadmap, Next Gen Platforms, Conquer The Cloud and Game Booster, in addition to all your favourites, like Developer Toolkit. Following on immediately after PG Connects Digital NEXT is Beyond Games, our two-day partner event, and you’ll have access to that too! Tracks at Beyond Games include Mapping The Metaverse, The New NFT Economies, Transmedia Trends, Influencer Marketing and more.

Networking For All
A Pocket Gamer Connects conference is a place to get business done. It's famous for being a place where new connections are made (hence the name) and productive meetings take place. You'll be able to network with over 1,200 industry professionals at this online event, and we will do our best to make that easy.

We'll bring together the whole gaming industry, from students and indie studios to the media, international investors and AAA publishers. Unlike some other events, we offer our MeetToMatch meeting scheduler free to all delegates, with unlimited requests, so you can find that perfect contact and arrange to meet them in person.

Fringe Benefits

Curated fringe events like our Publisher SpeedMatch, Money Maker and Investor Connector events pair developers in rapid succession with a series of publishers or investors. They're exclusive sessions where our experts hand-pick businesses who we know will find objectives in common. These short, sharp encounters enable first contact for you to follow up with a longer meeting if you find a potential partner. It’s a shop window for devs to display their wares and a pipeline of prospects for anyone looking to sign up-and-coming talent. Early application is advised as they fill up quickly and cannot be joined on the day.

Indie devs are the lifeblood of the mobile and PC games industry and Pocket Gamer Connects always champions their work. Our hugely popular Big Indie and PC Indie Pitches will be back in force with indie devs competing to impress a panel of expert judges. The winners walk away with armfuls of prizes and online marketing worth thousands of dollars.

Look out for the application links once you've bought your Pocket Gamer Connects ticket!

Meet The Media
We welcome regional and international specialist media to our events so that your games reach the widest audience possible. With our own publishing powerhouse behind us, you are guaranteed that our industry journalists will be onsite for demos, interviews and other ways to raise awareness of your brand or project to the online community outside the walls of the event.

If you’re looking for feedback on a project, check out our "Journalist Bar" for a free consultation from professional games journalists from sites including PocketGamer.com. Our editors can also be contacted through the meeting platform all week.

Meet an International Audience
About 30,000 industry professionals have attended the Pocket Gamer Connects international conference series since 2014, whether that's online or at a venue. The roadshow has landed in the UK, America, Canada, Finland, Jordan, India and Hong Kong with a genuinely international client base: on average, delegates from more than 45 countries attend each event. In 2020 we also took the event online, and delegates from over 75 countries joined us.

In 2016, we became the biggest dedicated mobile games industry conference series in Europe and have stayed on top ever since. Every event has been bigger and better than the last, even with the pandemic in 2020.

Not only have our previous delegates voted Connects the 'best value conference', but 97% would recommend it to a colleague and 96% tell us they’ll come back for more.

Previous speakers and delegates from all the key industry players include Supercell, King, Space Ape Games, Niantic, SYBO, Tencent, Telltale, Apple, Rovio, Disney, Wargaming, Kabam, NetEase, NTT Docomo, Ubisoft, Facebook, Google, Square Enix, Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Gameloft, Sega, Capcom, Unity, Twitter, Snapchat, Twitch and many, many, many more.
