    Did you know that the command “npx @wordpress/create-block” generates a Gutenberg editor's custom block? Scaffolded project is a plugin, and it includes everything necessary like PHP, JavaScript, and CSS files. Learn more in the tutorial.

    Another challenge is the fragmentation of the discussion between an issue and a pull request. I often see that some people arrive at the issue and leave their feedback there. Other folks discover PR first and engage there. It ends up with two places where similar chats happen.

    The latest release of Gutenberg introduces a nice addition that allows building patterns with "locked" blocks. That means their content can be changed but they cannot be removed nor rearranged using the UI, preserving the design intention.
