Bio

I specialize in the development of World Wide Web applications using a client-server model. My applications typically use HTML, CSS, JavaScript in the client + on the server, and HTTP for communications between client and server. I often use the WordPress content management system in applications.

WordPress Origin Story

In 2017 a friend asked me to build a WordPress site. At the time, I was programming in Python. I jumped on Meetup.com and searched WordPress. The local meetup was being held on the following day, about two miles away. The topic of discussion was WordCamp DFW. I had no clue what WordCamp was, but I volunteered. I purchased Elementor Pro, Astra Pro, and a course by WPCrafter. A couple of weeks later, I was the emcee and cameraman for WordCamp DFW! That day changed everything! OMG, the community. Marc, Sheryle, Mike, Kay, and Jacob were so welcoming and helpful.

I came for the technology and stayed for the community!
