  Matthew was originally hired to assist my nephew in preperation for the Parochial High School Admissions exam. Building a relationship with Matthew was the best thing for my nephew. Matthew was very safe going into this situation creating a trusting a environment. Not knowing what he was walking into, Matthew quickly learned that my nephew’s academic inabilities were far more important than preparing for an high school entrance exam. Immediately Matthew begin working on creating a plan of action. He is very patient, yet intentional about holding my nephew accountable. Moreover, he follows up and send reminders for my nephew (I.e. don’t forget to bring your book home from school, remember to work on your math). Although we have a long way to go, it’s safe to say that we are seeing some progress. Thanks Matthew

  I cannot express my gratitude enough for Tom, Don and Brian. Don and Brian were very professional, friendly and great with my three-year-old dog and one-year-old daughter running around. They spent about a month at our house during various projects and they were not intrusive at all. I appreciated how clean they kept everything. Don was great at explaining anything I asked and showing me how everything was going. I felt at home with them. I cannot recommend their work enough

  Writing this just after Ken left today, 03-22-21. Fantastic! Ken was not on time - he was early! He called day before to remind me of appointment. In previous phone calls, Ken detailed the inspection and cleaning fees (WAY less $$ than another chain operated chimney company). As it turned out, all of my flues & chimney were in great shape so it was only $149 for the inspection of both fireplaces and all three flues. Nikko's Chimney (oops; didn't mean to put their name here :-)) wanted $199, $189 and $179 PER FLUE!! Ken also gave me some good tips about caulking needed around my chimney and inside the fireplaces that will preserve my fireplaces and chimney and save me money in the long term. I found Ken to be very personable, knowledgeable, punctual and professional. I would absolutely have him come back in the future for any work like this I will need! Ash's Chimney Sweep is a fine example of the small businesses that are the foundation of the United States. I always prefer to purchase from a small business if I can, instead of corporations and small business owners like Ken make me happy and proud to do that. Thanks, Ken

  We had one other person come to give us an estimate, the SAME thing we had Dean do, we ended up paying twice as much for the other company and they didn't do nearly as much. Dean came and did above and beyond. He was very thorough and explained every detail, I will say, he was NOT rushing, He took the time needed to get everything done the right way. We had another company lined up after him, but, we cancelled, because we've chose our man! We are EXTREMELY excited to work with him and see the outcome of our fire place. He was honest and upfront about everything, he was NOT about money, which, a LOT of these companies will try and sell you the top end of products. We asked him what would be money saving and functional for our fire place insert..he gave us names to look up and then gave us a website for our stone. I was very very impressed with how he handles his business. I will be recommending him to EVERYONE I know
