Beautiful work, excellent communication, transparent costs, and very respectful of home! Juan regularly checked in with me to ensure I was happy with layout design, spacing, tiling, grout, installation of fixtures, etc. throughout the process. He provided good recommendations, while also having an open ear to the home owner's wants. True to his word, there were no hidden fees. The cost for the labor was as discussed prior to the start of the job and material costs were transparent. Also true to his word, Juan demo'd old tile, prepped the shower area for new tile, re-tiled, and did finishing touches (e.g., grout, re-install fixtures, etc.) in 2.5 days straight, so you don't have to deal with long wait times between steps/work days. As an additional plus, everyone at the Juan Infantas Tile group was very respectful of the home. Everyday, they newly covered floors, and they cleaned up (e.g., vacuumed, removed floor coverings, etc.) before leaving for the day.

Perfectly! Freddy and his brother were exceptional in every way. Freddy responded to my initial request within an hour. He started the project at 8:00AM the following day. Always on time, so professional, and the quality of the installation was outstanding. His attention to detail matches mine - and I'm a perfectionist. And the price was fair. I was so impressed that I asked them to stay through the week working on other projects. Freddy can do so many things and he does them at a high level. I'm so pleased!

We recently had our kitchen floor and backsplash by Werner Armbrust. He did a fantastic job. We recommend him without hesitation. During the bid process Werner spent the most time discussing our plans, while his bid was the highest of those we reviewed, it was the most comprehensive. Because of the extremely comfortable feeling he gave us and because of the strong local reviews we received, we went ahead with the project. Werner quoted 10 days to do our project and he took exactly that. His quote was on time and on budget with the final price being exactly what was quoted. Werner took great care to make sure that our floor and walls were prepped and leveled properly before he started to lay the tile. The tile and grout came out beautifully done and perfectly level. Even though we used very large format tiles, there are no raised edges between the tiles and our floor is perfectly level. Collaborating with Werner on the design of the backsplash also we a joy. Our backsplash come out perfect as well. Werner exceeded our expectations.

Mr Bathtub did a great job. Communication was great, and they did the work on schedule and exactly as I expected based on their communications. The tub looks great.

Denise is a wonderful sales person for this company. She really knows her stuff regarding tile. She found the glass tile and porcelain for our new shower and bathroom flooring. Plenty of good advice and color matching with grout and accessories. They stock everything they sell. Open Saturdays- nice. They were very easy to deal with in San Jose and in their Brekeley shop (where they put up with me picking up at the very close of their business day.) I have been back for more materials and will be back when we do our other bathroom.

I found them highly rated on Angie's List. I spoke with Louis Reid and he was very professional, accommodating and informative over the phone. So I decided to hire him. He showed up on time, was professional while he was working. His son Jacob came and helped him too. The floor looks beautiful.

work went really well and right on time. they were here early every day and cleaned up each day great. from leveling the floor to the final grout they were very professional and did skilled work. when we're ready for the back-splash we'll certainly call them back.

Miracle Method folks were prompt in replying to Angie List request. The refurbishing took two days. They arrived on time, were incredibly informative in describing exactly what to expect. They did everything exactly as they said they would which was amazing. They were polite and left everything clean. The tub looks sparkling and wonderful. We are going to have them do another project for us!

I had previously completed the wall and floor prep work (concrete board installation), but I wanted a professional to do the finish tile work. When Ryan Willoughby came by to quote the job, I made it very clear that if he didn't like my prep work he should walk away and there would be no hard feelings. I totally understand that some contractors are only interested in doing "all" of the job and not "some" of the job -- some contractors that I called were not even interested in quoting or taking a look. But Ryan was interested, and after thoroughly reviewing my prep work he quoted the job. I greatly appreciate his good communication skills and willingness to work with me in this somewhat "unusual" circumstance. Ryan and his team did the tub surround on the first day, the floor on the second day, and grouted on the third day. We are extremely pleased with the quality of their work. They did exactly what they said they would. They were punctual, made a minimum of mess, and cleaned up after themselves each day. Ryan is licensed, bonded, and insured -- and I would not hesitate to hire him again for future tile work. He does not advertise (that I'm aware of) and this is apparently his first Angie's List review, but good contractors generally have no shortage of work.

The porcelain tile installation turned out better than we hoped. Their workers adapted to the change that proved necessary (we tried to remove the previous tile and cement board underlayment ourselves). They also disposed of the tile we removed. The new floor is a joy to behold.

Valenz Construction did an excellent job on my remodel! My original quote request was to have my cabinets repainted, but I asked about the complete project once I met with Ricky and after seeing the other reviews and pictures of their work. Once I received the estimate, I decided to have all the cabinets throughout the house repainted, porcelain tile flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms, and quartz countertops and a backsplash installed. Ricky was very professional and responsive when I had questions and also offered to help pick out materials to bring my vision to life! This whole process was very intimidating for me but I was assured that I was in good hands. They started each day on time and sometimes stayed longer to finish up completely for the day. Ricky also communicated each step of the way, sending text messages and pictures when I was not home. One day he found that one of the toilets was leaking and I thank God he found that before it became a bigger issue. On the final day of work I felt like I had walked into a brand new house even though I saw the between stages each day. My kitchen and bathrooms were completely transformed and needless to say, EVERYTHING came out amazing! I would highly recommend Valenz Construction for home remodeling needs.

Darren arrived on time, exactly as scheduled, to start work. He did an excellent job of installing the tile, despite a somewhat bowed floor and an off-square front door threshold. In addition he advised us on type of tile, along with grout selection. He did a beautiful job, at a reasonable price. I'm very glad we had him do it.

Fabulous job! Professional, efficient and great prep work. Our once beautiful porcelain sink looks like new. Have had it recoated once before by another company and what a beautiful difference this job is.

Tony is great! I purchased a new place and had to replace the kitchen flooring and install flooring to my HOA's specs. There was a laminate floor over a tile floor and both needed to be removed prior to installing the new floor. Tony was so helpful in suggesting tile options, and recommended things I hadn't though of such as new moldings, etc. When he pulled the old tile out, the subfloor crumbled. Tony and crew ended up having to remove that, install a new subfloor and then ultimately install the new tile. I was under a tight timeline as I was moving cross country and even with the additional work, he completed the job on time. He did a great job investigating the HOA specs installing to code. Tony even fixed some other floor problems I had where carpet was going to be laid. The quality is spectacular. I will recommend Celebrity Tile and plan to use them in the future as I make additional improvements!

Rod is really professional in everything. Took great care in making sure rough spots could be as level as possible on the concrete floor areas; got wall tile honed to create perfect bull nose edge; all grout lines are clean-looking even with the bull nose base tile along the uneven spots in the walls. He maintained clean site, carries all his own tools, plans out the job well and accurately predicts how long it will take. Could not be more happy!!

This was a great job, from the estimate to completion. Leo was timely for the appointment, and produced a sufficiently detailed estimate. When we decided, we were able to agree on a schedule quickly, and get started.Leo and crew were on the job on time each day, and worked straight through til the job was complete.We had a complex pattern and some fiddly materials. Leo was very open to our requirements, making suggestions and working with us to get exactly what we wanted. We added on the walls in the bathroom in process, and that was also no problem. Again, Leo accommodated our needs. In short, this was a complex job. Leo was flexible and personable. He and his crew were professional and friendly. The result is excellent. We will also be tiling our entry shortly, and doing stairs and the living/dining room in wood, and will ask Leo back for that.

His workers (Roberto and assistant) showed up promptly and completed the entire project in four days from start to finish. They moved heavy furniture items I could not move on my own, put up protective plastic, removed the previous flooring, disposed of it, prepped for and installed the new flooring, grouted it, replaced and caulked the baseboards, and replaced the heavy furniture pieces. They did an excellent job all the way around.
