Said fixed the leaking pump but noted that there were some hazardous conditions caused by the way the unit was originally installed. Suggested that I call PG&E for a safety inspection. Did so and they confirmed that there were indeed small gas leaks due to faulty and ancient installations. PG&E did repairs and I am getting proposal for repair of the 90 year old gas lines. Really appreciate Said's thoroughness and honesty. Could not recommend anyone more highly!

I had discovered a leak under my home in crawl space. Tech diagnosed leak within a wall due to a water supply line puncture from a baseboard trim nail. Tech cut hole in wall to expose damaged pipe, and repaired leak. Also, I had a loose shower arm in bath due to the fitting behind the wall was not properly attached to a support board. Tech cut another hole in wall that was behind the shower and installed a board that the shower arm fitting attaches to.

When he turned on the water again he saw another leak in a coupling near one of his repairs. He spent another 30 minutes repairing this leak for no charge because he felt his working on the pipes had caused the new leak.

Alfredo contacted me very quickly and I explained our issue. He agreed to come by the same day. He assessed the problem and gave me a detailed explanation of the issue and how to fix it. This included advising me that the repair could be problematic since the pipe was galvanized steel. I appreciated his approach to keep the repair simple and to address any issues as they came up. His estimate was very reasonable and the repair was successful. There was a small leak that started on a separate section which Alfredo came back and fixed as part of the original bid price. He was efficient and responded to all of my questions. That was very much appreciated!

On the whole the work was very well done. James was always on time and polite. Very helpful in pointing out areas requiring upgraded materials, etc. Fixed problems well. I was a little disappointed when they charged me for a show-up fee when there were extenuating circumstances which they were already aware of. They fixed problem by waiving this fee. It is a very good sign when a company is willing to make this kind of adjustment if warranted.

Ariana arrived on time as scheduled by the office and she clearly communicated that they work on a specific repair menu and not hourly. It is a better approach because we want the issue fixed and not keep adding variable items later. She quoted the price (and the visit fees which was pre-specified before I made the appt). Our powder room toilet floor boards were bulging out due to some moisture which we were unable to find. She took clear pictures as she disassembled the toilet and explained the issue and how she was fixing it. She also explained there would be a need to do a future fix for the flange being below our wood floor level. And provided a quote for future reference. She was very professional and ensured everything was left clean in the end. Though they may be a bit pricey, the work is very professional. Will definitely hire again!

First call was on 4/26/18. Office staff asked if I wanted estimator to come first; I declined as a leak needs to get fixed regardless of cost. Plumber was super polite, knowledgeable, well-groomed and efficient. I used a different plumbing company a few weeks later for a water heater problem and regretted not simply calling Rayne. When the water heater developed another problem I called Rayne. The plumber Rayne sent for that reeked of cigarettes but otherwise got the job done.

Scott was very professional over the phone when I first contacted him. I later texted him and we quickly agreed on a time for him to come over (the next day). He arrived exactly on time with two of his employees and was professional and friendly. I showed him where water was leaking into my garage and after me giving consent, he directed his employees to tear into the drywall and find the leak. They found the leak quickly and he determined the cause of the leak (a stress related tear caused by improper installation). They quickly repaired the pipe and Scott had me run water in the upstairs bathroom to test out the repair. The pipe still leaked and they repaired it again in a different way. Scott was very knowledgeable about houses built in Foster City and I appreciated that he gave me some tips on my gas furnace and other general plumbing issues while he was here. My only concern was that he quoted me between $300-$400 and then charged me $400. However, I gave him the benefit of the doubt that the repair had been slightly more work than he had initially expected.

Oddjob Rob arrived reviewed the leak (hot) and quickly determined the fix. Oddjob Rob turned off the water, turned on all water faucets to drain any water in the line, unscrewed the faucet stem replaced the worn washer with a new washer, screwed the faucet stem in place, turned on the water. Tested the leaking faucet by turning it on and off. No leak!!
