A-Z Appliance Repair

A-Z Appliance Repair did a great job. I had wasted two days on the phone begging Sears to just come out and look at the washer. Then I called A-Z, they came out the same day and did a great job fixing the washer.

Scheduled directly with service provider, Tony. He was able to come in a reasonable amount of time, ordered the required part and installed it in a day or two. My washer has been fine since. Tony was prompt and professional; he is a soft-spoken man who will gladly answer your questions (he is just not the chatty sort).

This was the first time I had used his services. He did a great job. He was a pleasant fellow that seemed to know what he was doing. He had the patience to listen to what the problem was and had the knowledge to fix it.

My 8 year old Kenmore washing machine did not spin correctly for 3 years, even after 2 other repairmen tried to fix it. The clothes were still wet after one spin and required a second spin to get more water out. When the machine began leaking on the floor, I started to look up the cost of new washing machines. I discovered that MANY people were unhappy with the new, "efficient" machines, claiming that parts of the clothes were still dry and dirty after washing due to the very low water level these machines used. I decided to try to have someone fix my washing machine, since there are very few models available that use a full tub of water. Sam arrived on Sunday, December 30th, to check out the machine and order parts. He came back on 1/4/13 and fixed the machine perfectly!

RO Appliance Repair Co

I had such a good experience with RO Appliance Repair Co.. I called yesterday and they were able to make me an appointment for today between 4-7 p.m. I got a phone call from the repairman, Lorenzo, at 3:45 saying he was on his way and would be there in 5-10 minutes. He showed up shortly thereafter and was easily and quickly able to ascertain the problem and fix it. Lorenzo also had some useful tips on washer use (for example, adding Borax to soften the water and running the washer empty with a cup of vinegar to clean the old soap scum out). I will be using RO Appliance Repair Co. for all my appliance repairs from now on and I'll be requesting Lorenzo. You should too!

Antone's Appliance

Robert originally worked on the machine a couple of months ago and after 2 weeks the machine started doing the same thing as before. Robert promptly came back and readjusted the part and did not charge me a service fee. Machine worked a couple more weeks and started having the same problem again. Robert again came to the house at no extra charge and was very comprehensive in explaining my options for getting a new mother board for the machine as opposed to just scouting for a new washer. It was pretty late in the day and I'm sure he had been working hard all day but he stayed for an hour to help us understand the ins and outs of washing machines. I would call Antone's at the drop of a dime any time for any appliance issues. This was some of the best down home professional service I have seen in a long time.

Promptly kept appointment to inspect the washer on the first call, where Sears called to cancel their appointments twice on two separate days. Repaired the washer within the estimated cost in a short time. Hourly rate was less than Sears and the work guaranteed for one year.

Carlos and his assistant arrived promptly and had the problem diagnosed and were working on it before I could get down to the garage! I have used this company for many years. Carlos has been the repairman I have had (now owner?) and the repair was done very quickly and efficiently as usual. He always has a pleasant attitude besides! I highly recommend this company.

very well.. replaced seal quickly and no additional problems. We also purchased a service contract for all our major appliances which gave us a discount on this service call. It made financial sense given the age of our appliances and the quality of Sears service.

I called in the morning, made an appointment for same afternoon. He came on time and knew exactly what the problem was within minutes. He made the repairs and was gone in 30 minutes. I thought the price was very reasonable. He was professional, courteous and knew what he was doing.

I chose this company because of it's A rating. After receiving service, I can agree the A is deserved. The person scheduling is knowledgeable and positive. She said the current fee for a service call is $59, which is still lower than another company and service was 2 days faster. Service was scheduled in a 2-hour window, and the man came in the first 20 minutes. He worked quickly and finished in less than 25 minutes.

After 18 years of faithful service, the motor finally gave out on my Kenmore dryer. Mr. Pham diagnosed the problem over the phone after hearing my description. He actually had the right replacement part in his truck and came over the same afternoon to repair it. He only charged $50 for the service call -- most of the cost of the repair was the new motor itself and the attached fan. The fan needed replacing because the motor had seized up and wouldn't turn, so there was no way to get it out of the housing without damaging the old fan. Fortunately that part was a minor extra charge. Mr. Pham also had replaced the motor coupling on my Kenmore washer (same age) the previous year. He loves working on these old Kenmores and tells me I can probably expect another five years out of the dryer before something else goes wrong -- he's predicting the timer next time. I may think about getting some sexy new machines to do my laundry. But as long as he's around and has the parts handy, I'll be happy to keep chugging along with ol' faithful drying my laundry!

Sears Appliance Repair

My 5 yr old Kenmore washer is making a funny squeaking noise when it spins and clothes come out soaking wet and times instead of spun dry. The repair man came out 2 hr late. he plugged in the diagnostic computer, came up with a code which identified a temperature sensing problem. He was fumbling around the whole time, did not know what he was doing. I repeatedly asked him how such a problem would cause the noise during spin cycles, which suggest problem of a more mechanical problem. he could not give me a logical explanation. After one hour at it, he ended up giving me an estimate of $150 to have problem fixed, so I had no choice but go with it. Then I found out my machine no longer worked after he left. Unable to get Sears to send out a properly trained technician to come out next day: took 4 calls before they would reluctantly agreed. Kenmore machines suck: should not break down after 5 yr when I only do 3-4 loads a week. The repair dept is no better.

Sears Appliance Repair

My Kenmore washing machine stopped working so I called Sears and asked for service. The person making the appointment suggested that even though I wasn?t having any problem with the dryer I could have it cleaned and checked at the same time for an additional $42.50. Which I agreed to do. When the service man arrived he immediately cleaned the dryer, pronounced it in good shape and then asked me to pay him $42.50 right then and there, which I did. Once that was accomplished and I had my receipt in hand he examined the washer and told me the repair bill would be $1366.73. He mentioned that most people with high repair costs just decide to buy a new washer. However, since my washer and dryer were stackable I would have to replace them both. Why then, I asked did you start with the dryer? I just paid $42.50 for a dryer that was in perfect working order but now has to be replaced. Why didn?t you check the washer first given that you knew that I might have to replace both it and the dryer? He said that he had no control over the order in which he was assigned to perform the repairs. I am exceedingly upset by this blatant action to take advantage of me by asking me to pay for a service that is of no value to me. Additionally, not only can I not replace only the washer I must buy a new stackable set that because of current industry standards will no longer even fit in my laundry closet. This contempt for loyal long term customers is unconscionable.
