Great job overall, the kitchen and bathrooms were spotless (cleanest I've ever seen the grout!), carpets vacuumed, floors damp mopped, surfaces dusted. Windows and sliding glass doors were thoroughly cleaned inside and out including tracks, etc for an additional fee.

We came home from a long vacation and saw our house with new eyes and realized that there was a lot of cleaning and repair that needs to be done. My husband and I work long hours and just don't have a lot of time for DIY projects anymore, so I hopped onto Angie's List to start research on cleaning our carpets and fabric sofas, which hadn't been done in almost 5 years, and our grout, which had never been cleaned since we bought the house almost 9 years ago. I did not seek multiple bids from various providers, but gauged an average price from reviews and read reviews for cleaner details before determining I would try Carpet Wizard first. I knew what I wanted to pay and what the typical rates were looking like, and unless the quote was a complete surprise, I was happy to save time and book with one quote. Gus contacted me to set up a time to stop by to give a quote. We arranged this by text. Gus accommodated our request to meet with him on a weekend since we both have difficulty finding time to be home during the weekdays due to our work schedules. After the quote, which I felt was very fair given the amount of time it would have cost my husband and I to try to do the work ourselves (with less professional equipment), we scheduled a work day. Gus arrived on the scheduled weekday with his co-worker, Martin, and they promptly got to work. Both men were friendly and professional. I didn't think our staircase would look ok because it was so dirty, but it looks great. Our sofas are a light linen butter yellow color and we know they will never be really clean again, so the improvement that Carpet Wizard made was notable and great given what they had to start with. There was a large juice stain on one of our dining room chairs that was gone afterwards and the chairs look great. Our area rug, which is a medium pile zebra print had a lot of grime on the white areas, which look clean and clear now. But what was most impressive was how clean our grout was after they finished. We sealed the grout ourselves afterwards so I was up close to every inch of the grout afterwards and will say that I was delighted by how far into corners and along the kitchen cabinetry kick boards they went to really clean the grout. I don't know that I would have been that meticulous if I tried to do it myself. They cleaned grout where I never noticed there was grout. They also buffed all the floor tile which really made it all look fantastic. Remember, this is grout that was near white to start and was almost black through much of the kitchen when Carpet Wizard arrived. All is light and bright now. Finally, if it is of concern to the women out there...I was home alone with Gus and Martin and felt no concern about this at all. Very nice people with pride in what they do.

The owner of Carpet Wizard arrived on time, went right to work and did an excellent job. I was very impressed with his honesty. He actually apologized at how the counters looked when he finished because all the flaws were "laid bare" so to speak. It was precisely what I wanted so I would know what work had to be done. I don't think I've ever met anyone as honest as this man! He did an excellent job.

Gus came by and gave us an estimate. We had everything done: the wall to wall carpeting, individual silk and wool carpets, sofa upholstery, and grout removal in 3 bathrooms and a kitchen. He and one of his staff worked extremely hard while they were here. The house looked great after they were done. We had him come back and do more individual carpets after his first visit. I would definitely use him any time we have carpet cleaning to do.

I hired them for s deep clean. I added windows and refrigerator cleaning. I specifically asked about grout cleaning they said it was included, when I came home, the showe was covered in mildew. Thefloor is still covered in dust and the housekeeper left her lunch container in my sofa.

Very professional , skilled, knowledgeable and punctual. Worked diligently and stayed on task. Achieved high quality results.

Found Mimi on craigslist. She agreed to come over the same day. Asked her to clean my kitchen. She did a fine job, getting the tile and grout and fridge really clean. She was going to charge me only $40, but I was happy with her work and her willingness to provide same-day service; I paid her $80.

They dust, deep clean bathrooms, do a thorough job of vacuuming, keep grout on tile floors spotless. Nagela is totally open and likeable. She and her crew work very hard to please. I cannot believe I found her on line. She responded quickly to my Angie's note which is always a good sign. Showed up on time to evaluate the job and was right on target with her estimates. You cannot go wrong.

The quality of the cleaning has been very good. The shower grout looks great, the hardwood floors are clean and i've not noticed any spots left after they've been cleaned. Four workers clean the house for about 2 hours. They are not very punctual and are quite noisy - just the vacuum cleaners - and they leave stuff in different places but the cleaning has been very good so far. I hope it continues this way.

I purchased a spring cleaning deal from Angie's list - 3 hours for $69. Fabiana and Elizabeth did a fantastic job. They were very thorough in their cleaning and seemed to time manage appropriately. Most of the time spent was in the bathroom and kitchen. While both were thoroughly cleaned, the bathroom was amazing. Elizabeth really got the grout in the shower cleaned and worked on the build up on the bathroom floor. I would definitely use them again.

Benito gave an estimate and stuck to it for the most part. He came with his crew and cleaned very thoroughly. However, I was under the gun and wished he had charged less. $650 for a small 3 bedroom house seems excessive to me. In addition, he uses harsh cleaners in places where things milder would suffice. Some colored grout got unnecessarily bleached out with his stuff. Overall, though, he was very thorough and got the job done.

We did the initial trial run. They sent over their A-crew, I guess, because these guys made short work of the entire house. Jana's crews have been doing this for a very long time and the experience shows. Husband was impressed enough to not complain about the monthly plan. It's a bit expensive at 145$ a visit, but you cannot complain about the results. They schedule ahead of time and give you a list of supplies. The crews are on time (90-95%). Most of the times, the delay is traffic (eastbay traffic is horrendous). The first time it was a crew of three (2 + Supervisor). Subsequently, its dropped off to two. We get them Friday afternoons and they do all the above cleaning in about 3 hours. The only thing I would ask my fellow Angie's List members to watch out for is the Grout cleaning. You need to protect your base boards ahead of time, if you are getting the floor Grout cleaning done. The crew won't do it. Due to the amount of water that gets used, if you don't watch out, you will be in for a nasty shock. Overall - Punctual, great quality of work.

EH Cleaners came in to do a good scrub of our newly purchased home--they were amazing. They were incredibly accommodating of our schedule (we kept changing it on them given a moving close date) and Carmen and Ester, our two cleaners, were not only fantastic, hardworking women, they were also lovely to have in our new home. They washed all walls, baseboards, windows--you name it, they cleaned it. And they got old crusty white tile grout to look as good as new. They left us with a gleaming, clean and fresh smelling home

Gus arrived and examined the kitchen and gave me a quote of $190....BUT......he was very honest and told me that the result I wanted was not possible. The grout was actually not white... not as dirty as I thought. I was very impressed with how honest and sincere he was. He could easily have gotten me to hire him to clean it. The same thing with the fireplace. He told me again honestly that because it was porous material the stains would reappear after cleaning. Oh, and then he gave me several suggestions about what to do with my kitchen and fireplace. So go figure.......I try and hire him for 2 jobs and he would rather be helpful and HONEST then take my money. WOW! When was the last time that happened! I will be contacting Gus again for ANYTHING I need cleaned in my house.

I have had people cleaning my house for 15 years .. Jenny is by far the best. Other companies charge extra for things she included in her service. There were two workers Jenny and a helper. They cleaned the kitchen cabinets, dusted ceiling fans ,cleaned closet mirrors, they even dusted the plants!. she dusted the top of the sofa which I have to ask people to do. jenny is intelligent and she pays attention to detail. They used grout cleaner on the tiles. I was amazed. I could not find one thing wrong with the way she cleaned my house. She is pleasant friendly and accommodating, most of all she cares about pleasing her clients and her reputation. I highly recommend Jenny.

I sent Serrano Cleaning Services an email message requesting a price quote and Jose responded quickly. However, another company was able to clean my condo sooner and was a little cheaper in price so I went with the other company. The other company didn't end up showing up at the scheduled appointment time so I called Jose to see if I could schedule an appointment after all. Within the hour, I met Jose at my condo, walked through all the work which needed to be performed, and received a price quote. While the price was slightly more than the other company, Jose seemed very trustworthy and was very professional. I needed the condo cleaned and he was able to fit me in with a Monday morning appointment. On Monday morning, I checked in with Jose and he and his crew were at my condo. He let me know approximately 20 minutes before they were finished so I could go by and make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Before they had cleaned my bathroom, I had mold all over the tiles and grout-- it was disgusting. I was in awe at how sparkling white the tiles were. I even thought they caulked the grout because there was no mold to be found. They hadn't-- just scrubbed it clean. The kitchen was equally spotless and he handed me a couple of plates I had accidentally left in the cabinets. The sliding glass door was so clean, I thought the door was open. I was amazed at what a great job they did and wondered why I never hired a cleaning company before (especially when I still lived there)! Jose also sent me a copy of my receipt per my request. He did so within hours of my request and even reminded me to send him my email address so he could do so. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the services. I would highly recommend his company to others and would definitely use them again!

Very well. He didn't get back to me instantly but he's the main contact for a small company. I see other reviews that complained about that but I didn't see it as a big problem. It was well worth it.

The deep cleaning was very thorough. All the things Jana and I discussed at our first appointment were completed on the day of deep cleaning. They went above and beyond and cleaned things we hadn't talked about and I'm sure our house has not been that clean in years. They removed everything from cupboards, our china cabinet and refrigerator and cleaned shelves. They cleaned our window sills and window frames, as well as our ceiling fans and baseboards. Our kitchen grout looked amazing! We have now had the team in twice since the initial deep cleaning, and the ladies have left the house neat and clean. It is a relief not to have to make time over the weekend or take a vacation day to clean our house. The only thing I would caution is on the timeliness of the deep cleaning. In hindsight I would have had a firmer deadline on completion of the job more clearly established. Our job went several hours longer than anticipated - and though we felt EH Clean was exceptionally thorough, it was a major inconvenience for my boyfriend and I to have cleaners in our house until after 9 pm on a week night.

Eric is great- came out and gave us an estimate and scheduled cleaning date. The price was more than I wanted to pay ($250 for 1300 sq ft, 2br/2bth) but I was extremely happy with how spotless the oven (inside and out), stove top and microwave were! The bathrooms and counter tops were nicely done as well. My big complaint is - 1.) they showed up over an hour late 2.) tile floors (a HUGE part of why I hired them) in kitchen, family room/dining room were NOT clean. There was evidence of dried mop streaks but many, many blatant spots still on the floor - coffee droplets, shoe prints, dirt in grout lines. Eric did return with the crew to redo the tile. He told me they don't "scrub" floors... hmmm 3.) the ladies broke the glass light fixture in the bathroom. Eric let me know and said he's replace it. I had to call him to remind him, but he did replace it.

Ernesto was very prompt in calling me back and came to look at the townhome the same day. He provided me with a reasonable quote. We scheduled a time for the cleaning and he was very willing to accommodate my schedule. When I could not meet him to give him the keys, he came to my house on Saturday evening to pick them up. They are especially good at cleaning glass. This unit had lots of glass (mirrors and windows) and all came out spotless. The bathrooms, kitchen and overall condition of the unit was good when they were done. They even managed to clean the dirty Grey grout in between the tiles on the kitchen counter top. Oven and refrigerator were thoroughly clean and looked like new. Also swept garage. They charged $320 for the cleaning and $150 for the windows. When work was done, they called to let me know work was completed and even dropped off keys and invoice at my home mailbox. I would hire them again.
