Anthony was just great. He showed up, he diagnosed the furnace problem quickly, ordered the part and came back to install it within a couple of days. I was really pleased!

Said was awesome! He saved me tons of money and was most educational about my furnace. I just bought a house that came with 2008 Carrier furnace with a flue that has a crack. I called 3 Heating & AC companies to look at this. One of them was Albert Nahman Plumbing & Heating. In the meantime, my husband bought heat resistent tape and wrapped the pipe. I have a Carbon Monoxide meter (not the one you buy in the Baby store but the one that detects carbon monoxide immediatly and as low as 1ppm). When I measured for Carbon Monoxide all over the furance and pipe, it did not read higher than 2 ppm (which is basically nothing) One company gave me an option to replace a furnace (very expensive + they did not find anything wrong with my current furnace), another company never followed up with the estimate. Said came over with his Carbon Monoxide reader. He could not detect CB either. He explained to me how my furance and AC work and what to watch for. He sent me an estimate to replace the pipe two days later as he said he would. I asked him how he decided on what kind/size of pipe he needs to use and if this will make everything up to code. He came back. This time he also came brought two carbon monoxide readers and confirmed that my fix does not leak any carbon monoxide right now and how to make sure that my furnace setup is up to code.

This is a nice family business. His wife does the scheduling. He showed up promptly. He found a small part that my furnace needed, had it in the truck, installed it, and only charged me $135. He is honest and efficient.

Todd, the owner is great. He was prompt, fast. professional and inexpensive. Furnace was acting up; he diagnosed and fixed it within an hour. He is also a joy to talk with. Will also definitely use him for plumbing and tankless water heater issues in the future,

"Art" @ Mr. Reliable was just an "A" list Serviceman. Prompt, strong knowledge, very professional, strong follow-up and communication skills. I've had a few different reps look at this machine in recent years and no one hit the nail on the head like he did. He diagnosed quickly and managed warranty with the OEM. The part needed to be ordered so there was a delay in the repair. He kept strong communication with me throughout, fought through some inventory challenges with suppliers, pursued options and had the right pair for the final repair just a few days later. Dave was very responsive & prompt. He was able to ascertain the problem very quickly and told us up-front what the different options were. He told us that he would try to fix it with the cheapest solution first, but that it may involve a furnace replacement if that didn't work. Luckily, he was able to fix the problem -- and our renters were only without the furnace for a day or two.

Edwin was able to come to my home quickly and was able to repair my furnace as well as explaining my options for replacement as my furnace is very old. We will call again when we decide to replace the furnace.

I can only strongly agree with all the people who had reviewed John (High Performance Heating and Air) previously and had given him rave reviews. He was a pleasure to deal with: responsive, willing to spend time to provide answers to all the questions I had, extremely knowledgeable and professional, and also very honest in his evaluation for the best solution. Here are the facts. My furnace started to sound loud, so I called the regular company that I had used for performing regular "tune ups". They told me that I need to replace the "inducer motor assembly" ($1500) or that I should consider replacing the whole unit because it is "near the end of its life" anyway ($4000+). So, I wanted to get a second opinion and, after seeing great reviews about John, I called him. Given the potential replacement costs, I was willing to spend extra $100 (John's trip fee) and I'm very glad I did, as John has saved me hundreds of dollars! Within 5 minutes of checking the furnace, he diagnosed the noise problem as being the result of water that had collected inside the blower fan. He checked the tubing that is responsible for draining the water and, sure enough, it was clogged. He carefully took it off (water came out), cleaned it up, put it back and the furnace now sounds as quiet as new. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes, plus John performed additional checks on the furnace and gave it a clean bill of health. He told me the furnace could easily be good for another 10-15 years. Seriously, I can't add any more praise for John than had been done already, but he is awesome. I will use him always in the future, whenever I need HVAC help. And I certainly won't be calling the other company for "tune ups" anymore. Thanks John!!!

Tony was able to fix my furnace in my apartment and have the heather back up in no time. Not only did he fix my furnace but he cleaned it as well! He even installed a new thermostat and showed me how to work it. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Me Valderrama was on time and quickly diagnosed the ignition problem with our furnace. He also performed the work quickly and added a little info about the furnace. Definitely will hire again.

The service technician worked through the diagnostics in a thorough manner. He had some problems with his parts that caused an additional problem. He addressed the problem and made good at the estimated price without charging for extra parts needed. He really cared about providing good service and doing a professional job. I would call on them again for future work.

Furnace stopped working. A-1 was able to send out someone the next day. Zach was on-time and diagnosed the problem. He ordered the part needed right away since the weekend was coming up and we obviously were concerned about the days without heat. The office was able to confirm that the part would be in Monday afternoon and scheduled our appointment for Tuesday morning. Again, Zach was on time, courteous and efficient. Best of all, nobody involved tried to up-sell us on any other items or services, which was very refreshing! A-1 is now my go-to place for my furnace and air-conditioning needs.

I didn't end up using them it was just a consultation. They came out and gave me an estimate on the repair, and that was all fine. They were very upfront with me it was the cold time of the year. He told me that this is our busy time and it would take us a week or even two before we could get to you. So he was very upfront about that, in a positive way. He was a good guy. I didn't end up using them, not because of that. But they were fine, I didn't have any issues. The guy was knowledgeable. you can tell these guys are not a new comer. They are knowledgeable. When he left I wasn't scratching my head like what did he say? It was a professional experience. It was good. They weren't the cheapest in town, but they were right there. They were there when they said they would be.

My landlord Kip Martin of the Martin Group called AAA Furnace to repair a defective heater in my apartment after SJ Code Enforcement issued him a warning. I had been exposed to natural gas for weeks & was quite ill. AAA Furnace employee Monique Featherston called me twice and then, unbeknownst to me, sent 2 letters to Mr.Martin detailing our brief conversations and adding information that the City of San Jose had already proven to be false. I called her and asked why AAA Furnace was inserting itself into a legal situation between the landlord and the city and she said proudly "We've known Kip for a very long time and whatever he needs we'll provide for him!" It doesn't matter if they are 'friends' with a landlord, you don't provide false information to the City, period. I've attached one of the letters they sent to the landlord to use in court.( Although 'Monique' declares that the locks were changed they were not, the landlord hadn't repaired the broken locks from the previous tenant and the city was notified last November.) More importantly, why is AAA Furnace inserting themselves into this situation? When a repairman enters your home for repair, especially when you are so incredibly ill from a natural gas leak (Confirmed and corrected by PG&E), you shouldn't have to worry that they are also trying to gather information to help a 'friend' in a legal fight with the city. Incredibly unethical and unsettling.

Went very well. Determined that a switch on new circuit board was set wrong and that connector on new ignitor was not connecting correctly. Unit is two stage but had a one stage thermostat, replaced. Cost was fair and reasonable. Technicians were friendly and knowledgeable.

It went fine. He came out and gave me an AL discount, which I did have to mention. He diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate. He gave me the model number for the part and allowed me to obtain the part myself, which I was able to obtain the part and complete the repair myself for a lot less, which I appreciated.
