The most recent cleaning they did for me went great as usual. He showed up on time (even though he was clearly ill) and did a fantastic job cleaning the carpets. Alfonso and his assistant, Gerardo, arrived at the agreed upon time. After I explained my concerns re: a cabinet that shouldn't be moved, they went to work and finished in a little over an hour. Stains disappeared. Nothing was broken. The men were both professional and considerate of my concerns.

I have a two-bedroom apartment with cream-colored carpets. They show every little thing and I have them cleaned regularly. Jeff Goodwin uses steam cleaning and it does not harm the carpet fibers. The result is beautiful. In the end, it is also pet and kid safe. Best of all, he’s completely reliable. I wanted him to clean an older carpet and he warned me against it and recommended another approach. Honest, thorough, knows his stuff and works hard. The results are great.

He was on time, very professional, and kind. He did a great job. I live need the beach so I am worry about moister. He did such a great job that my carpet was just damp and dried faster than my other carpet cleaner.

The holidays are coming and I needed carpets to be cleaned. Contacted Sparkle Steamer because of a coupon in the mail. Scheduled an appointment for 10:30 am at about 11:00 am an employee comes to the door to do an estimate on the carpet, hands me quote and I have to wait for the carpet technician to arrive a hour and a half later. After carpets are finished being cleaned, I needed to leave the house asap for an appointment. Upon returning to my house I noticed an area on my carpet that was highly saturated and orange. I quickly called the company and was assured that this will not stain my carpet, that it was a spot of chemical cleaner that was missed. It needed to be steam cleaned out and they would be out the following day by 4:00 pm. When scheduled time came and went with no call and no show, I contacted Sparkle Steamer. Employee knew who I was and made an excuse as to why they could not make it. He then told me he would be there the next day(now two days after service) "by 3:00pm not a minute late, I guarantee it" Next day at 3:18 pm I called with no answer. Left a message for someone to get back to me. No one has returned my phone calls from this company. I still have a huge orange spot left on my carpet from this company.

Gus arrived promptly as scheduled and bent over backwards to provide friendly and expert service! He was cheerful and reiterated that if I needed him to come back to re-clean anything to give him a call. He takes great pride in his work and is a huge Angieslist asset! I would call him back in a second (in fact, my landlord called after we moved out to ask who had cleaned the carpet because he wanted his name for the future!).

Ken came by first to view the house, give a quote, discuss special needs (e.g., sensitivity to the cleaning solution and alternatives), and figure out how to hook up his truck to the water source and get the hose to our third-floor condo. He is a very nice, low-key guy with decades of experience. We scheduled the cleaning for later in the week. The only hangup on the day he arrived was that he needed to run to the store for a part to reach the water source. Once the job started, Ken and his crew were thorough, careful and excellent. Ken came by the following week to clean our windows and did a fine job. He treated our home with respect, which we appreciated. The pricing was fair and we would definitely call on him again.

The dispatcher returned my call quickly and made an appointment on very short notice. The two gentlemen were on time, polite and neat. My light-colored rugs were a mess after my large dog's prolonged illness involving incontinence (sorry, TMI). I had no real hope for my carpets, except maybe they might smell fresher. When the cleaners were done, however, I was very, very surprised by the excellent appearance of my carpets. The job they performed far exceeded my expectations. I thought I would have to replace my carpets, but now I can put that off until the last of my three sons goes to college. I am honestly thrilled with the work done by this company. Hmm, maybe I need to get out more if a good carpet cleaning can delight me so =)

They were prompt, professional and very nice. They worked hard and used their own chemical "dry" cleaning solution without steam cleaning. The carpet was clean but not substantially different from the steam cleaning. There were a few stains that they still could not get out, but they did try hard.

I enjoyed having them come out for my carpets. He really knows what he is doing. I feel like he has been in this business for life. The carpets turned out great and there were no stains on them at all. I would highly recommend this company.

Guz was on time, and very pleasant even when we hit a snag on locating the access to the outside faucet. He did an excellent job in cleaning the carpet; all stains are gone!
