Terrible. We approached them in early November 2006. David Lucas, one of the company owners, said we could have the plans by Thanksgiving and the garage built by Christmas. The plans weren't ready until Late February. We told him at the outset we were looking for a $35K garage. He drew up the plans and gave us an estimate for $50K. Then he asks me to sign a form saying that they are not licensed architects and we release them from any liability if the garage fails due to poor plans. We hired someone else to do the building and he pointed out NUMEROUS errors in computation in the plans that made big differences in orders he was placing for materials. For example, they measured the trusses incorrectly on the materials sheet so that when my contractor tried to place an order, he had to redo all the calculations. Our first few meetings with David Lucas were started by a 10 minute sales pitch about how much pride they take in their work. Don't believe it. All talk, no results.
