It was a good experience. A rep. came out at the appointed time to take measurements for an estimate. He told me up front that, upon paying a deposit, the lead time would be 6 weeks or so. They came out a 2nd time to take more detailed measurements prior to making the awning. Finally, they removed the old awning and installed the new one in an hour, with no problems, and cleaned up the tree debris that fell from the old awning. The backyard looks light and bright now with the new awning!

Carlos and I agreed on an approach,which required: detaching the awning rail from the house, lowering the support arms to the deck rail, removing the roller, lowering the assembly to the ground level, bolting the roller to a bench and successfully replacing the 15' long material on the roller. Then Carlos had to use some information by the manufacturer together with an improvised work around to properly wind the roller's two springs. The assembly was then remounted. His charge was very reasonable, about half the cost estimate from an awning company.

I called AirSun and the owner came to my house the very next day (in incredible heat...) to measure and discuss installation of the awning. The awning needed to be ordered first and was delivered to my house. In the meantime, I worked with the electrician (Julio Mendoza) suggested by the company, who was very responsive. Julio and his colleague prepared exterior wiring and outlets needed for the awning. Once the awning arrived, I arranged for AirSun to install and connect it. They arrived exactly when they said they would. I am so happy with the awning - it has made an overly sunny and warm living room pleasant again. The owner took pride in his work. I would hire them again if I needed another awning. I can't comment on pricing, since I didn't do much research. I needed the awning quickly to shield a new piano from the sun, and so expediency was more important to me than price.

I'm very happy with the product. I wanted an estimate on an awning to be done and their representative was very helpful. I had an old awning that I wanted to be dismantled and disposed and they said they would take care of that. They came back within a couple of weeks to install the awning. There was one mistake made in the ordering but they were quick to fix it and get it straightened out. It's been great! They fixed it to my total satisfaction.

The job went fine and the awning has been sturdy and it looks good. Checked on a replacement of the canvas and it's more than half the cost of the whole awning which I thought was a bit much. Would look to keep the canvas clean to avoid having to do this.

They had done exactly what they said they were going to do. They are very friendly. The owner comes out and does a lot of the work. The products that they supply are of very high quality. They were here when they said they would be, and they were finished when they said they would. I was very happy with them.

ACE AWNINGS WAS VERY FAST TO RESPOND TO MY CALL FOR SOMEONE TO FIX THE TARE IN THE AWNING SO IT WOULD NOT GET TO THE POINT IT COULD NOT BE FIXED. THEY CAME OUT A FEW DAYS LATER. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY DID A GOOD JOB FIXING THE TARE.

The Acme Awning Company salesman was punctual and came well prepared with sample fabrics and various options with prices. The pricing is slightly higher than some others I researched, but I learned that their guaranteed service levels made it worth the cost. You see, the salesman's measurements didn't account for a non-obvious surprise that required the awning be 3" shorter than the width measured. When the installers came, they found a way to make the salesman's measurements work, but when I said I wasn't happy with it, they promptly uninstalled the awning, took it back to be resized, and showed up the next week to install it again to my satisfaction. If I had purchased the awning from one company and hired my own contractor to install it, I would have not known about the hidden/non-obvious surprise causing me to order an awning that was the wrong size, and I would have had to pay the contractor to install the awning, take it down, and reinstall it again...all costs that would have added up. With Acme, one price covered it all, and I absolutely love the result - it's functional and beautiful! I'm usually a DIY person, but I'm glad this time I left it to the pros.

They did not come out to our place for estimate. They just told me to submit pictures on their website, and they emailed me the estimate.

Bruce Palmer is a true awning wizard. If you need any repair or help with your fabric retractable or fixed awning. Call him and you will not be disappointed. We called him to replace four defective arms on a big retractable awning that we had purchased from a different dealer. Bruce took on the job at a very fair price (he charged us less than the estimate that he quoted on the phone). In addition to fixing the arms, Bruce made a few adjustments to the awning without any charge to us. He is a true professional who takes pride in his work.

Excellent sales rep and excellent installation. It is also an excellent product that is pricey but has great quality.

In about 40 minutes they had scrubbed down the awnings. Their price was $200 to do 6 awnings that were in pretty bad shape. I will use them again and definitely recommend them.
