Tech 2U's service is simply the best in San Diego, and a notch of quality above Geek Squad (who were slow, failed me before and have less scope as to what they CAN repair). CPR Cell Phone Repair Rancho PenasquitosMy Microsoft Surface Pro4's battery started to swell and over a year or more it got progressively worse until it was pushing the screen out and getting very hot. It happened slowly with the keyboard not closing fully against the screen at first only slightly and getting progressively worse. It was out of warranty so I tried several good computer repair places, non of which said they could fix it. I finally ran across the add for Cell Phone Repair (CPR), which said they did Surface Pro4 battery replacement. The had such great reviews that I called them and they said they could repair it and quoted me what I thought was a fair amount. I took my computer in for repair and within a short few days they had replaced the battery and had my computer back to looking and working like new. The owner Mike stated that they had replaced the batter in well over 100 Surface Pro4 computers. I was thrilled with the results and would highly recommend them for this repair. They seemed to have high integrity and were very friendly and honest in their interactions with me.- JOSEPH S.

Geeks NexGenI built a desktop computer and after completion, it would not interface with a monitor. I later found out this was due to my GPU's firmware. Geeks NexGen charged me almost $300 to "assemble" my fully assembled computer and run diagnostics. When I received my computer, the glass window on the side of the tower was shattered. I had to follow up to receive a discount for this, as well as the discount that was initially promised. They were also 15 minutes late to open their office for our appointed drop-off time. Derrell's Computer Repair ServicesDarrell is unresponsive, unethical and a poor computer repairman. He was unable to fix my phones or tablets. He returned my laptop in worse shape than he received it and didn't call or respond for ten days at one point. He still has some of my devices and it looks like we may have to go to court for me to get them back. There are plenty of qualified repair people around. Stay away from Darrell's. Trust me.- Kyle S.

I had an old laptop that I couldn’t turn on. It had suffered liquid damage and was going to cost more than the device itself. They were able to save the data and move it to a flash drive for me at a reasonable price and then recycled my dead laptop for free.

tech was wonderful- very focused on task & tried multiple solutions but to no avail. after 3+hours, suggestion was a new hard drive which I ultimately had installed it for half the cost of the $300+ analysis but the techs notes were useful! .
