  The driveway came out well: thick coat, smooth surface, neat edges. Eddie is very experienced, he and his crew were pleasant to work with, and the price was reasonable. I would definitely use Pave Tech again. Expect to wait a while to get a construction date, especially now with COVID-related labor shortages. I suggest checking in periodically after signing to see how things are going and make sure you're still in the queue

  We needed to replace a the brick stairway at the front entrance of our house. We wanted to replace it with some sort of stone rather than sticking with brick. Commonwealth did a great job from start to finish. This began with a long conversation about our stone and material choices for the new stairs. Sean from Commonwealth was very knowledgeable and experienced, and this helped us have confidence that we were going to end up with a good design. The work was done quickly and without incident. The work was completed on schedule, and the stairs turned out beautifully. We would definitely use Commonwealth Masonry for future jobs, and would recommend them to others

  My experience with John Cooper Paving & Sealing was outstanding from start to finish. The owner and crew's excellent communication skills were key. The crew got to my home right on time and jumped into action. The amount of work they accomplished in such little time was hard to believe but you can see that they are so in sync with each other as they work. They left my property cleaner than it was when they had arrived! When I had something I wanted changed (due to personal preference and after they had already left!), Denise sent a couple of guys right back to my property to help me work it out. We are very pleased with the whole experience.

  I got 4 different quotes to repave my driveway. Joe (the owner) came by on a Friday and gave me a competitive quote. It wasn't the lowest quote but after reading a bunch of reviews online I felt comfortable having his company do the work. I got back to Joe 3 days later (Monday) and approved the estimate and asked him to perform the work. He said he would get back to me by the end of the week with a date to start. 17 days later a nice woman calls me, apologizes for taking so long to get back to me and says they will be there to do the work on Mon 9/27/21. I figure he is busy so not a big deal. On Mon 9/27 Joe is a no show, I text him around 2pm, no response. he texts me at 5pm and says he wont be there until Wed 9/29 to prep and pave on Thurs 9/30. Wed comes and no Joe, I get another text at 5PM stating he will be there the next day Thurs 9/30 to do prep work. He does show up Thurs and does the prep work. The next day Fri 10/1 it rains. On Mon 10/4 they come to pave. Joe is busy and if it rains one day everyone gets pushed back a day. I get it. Just let people know of the changes. The driveway gets paved and it appears to look good at first. Then I walk around and start noticing things. The 1st issue is he didnt pave all the way to my door as seen in the pictures. I show Joe the door and he says "I paved up to the bricks". The bricks can be easily removed but moving the door cant! Then he says he will come back at the end of the week to fix it. He never shows up or contacts me again. I did reach out again, no response. 2nd, he missed compacting under my stairs all the way as seen in the pictures. Those 2 issues are minor. I can deal with those. What ****** me off is the seams where the paving meets. It looks so bad. Every time I walk outside I just get aggravated. See the pics. The seams arent level. If you rub your foot over them pieces of asphalt come up 2 weeks later. As he is finishing up my driveway my next door neighbor asks joe to pave a section of his driveway. My neighbor pays Joe $2500. Joe does the 1st section and states he will come back the next day. Never shows up again. My neighbor then comes over to my house and asks "Where did you find this guy?" The best part is when I go to pay Joe I say "I would prefer not to give you all the money now to make sure you come back to fix the door" and Joe responds "My reputation is more important to me than not fixing it". What a crock of crap! I have to look at this crap work for years. So if you are looking for a paving company that does good work, has good communication and keeps their word, use somebody else
