Top Water Softener Repair in San Francisco

Tony has been my plumber for over ten years. He has changed out all the faucets in my house ( 10). I get his discount at the plumbing store. He is always on time, the charges are always reasonable, and the repairs have held up over time. I feel very fortunate to have such a competent and mic guy as my plumber.

They came out originally to repair the existing water softener, but the original unit was rusty and non repairable so he installed a new unit.

The plumber came at the appointed time, explained the charges up front (it was $125 for the call out and for an hour of work to investigate the problem and give an estimate). He then identified the problem in 5 mins. and said it would need a valve replacement. He said he would have to order a part which would take about a week to arrive and cost $80. On our approval, he ordered the part, phoned us when it arrived (in about 1week), gave us an appointment for a day that was mutually convenient. On the day, he phoned in the morning to give us a two hour window when he would arrive. He arrived at the appointed time and fixed the part - it took a little longer than normal because our water softener was in a cramped corner of the garage, and he had to dismantle a fair amount of it before he could fix it because of the lack of space. However, it was all done within the remaining 55 minutes credit we had from his first visit. He only charged us for the part cost ($80) in the second visit. It was a pleasant experience. The plumber was professional, competent and fair. The problem is fixed, and I got good value. Update: I used Water Quality Plumbing again on May 14, 2014, this time to fix a leaking bathtub faucet at a rental a few blocks away from my home. I had called a different plumber first, one I had used before for work in the rental, but his bid seemed outrageous. He wanted $270 for labor and $150 for parts. He claimed the entire stem and diverter had to be replaced. Since I had a very good experience with Water Quality Plumbing, a few weeks earlier, at my home, I decided to give the job to WQP instead. I phoned early morning before work and received an appointment the same day, and I was given a couple of windows. Rather than act as an intermediary between WQP and the tenant, I asked WQP to contact the tenant and schedule an appointment at a convenient time, and told them to go ahead and do the work if it was around $200. They set up the appointment with the tenant for that afternoon during her lunch hour. They phoned me from the rental after inspection and confirmed the diagnosis of the first plumber, but said they could do the work within the 60 minutes covered by their call-out charge of $125 with an additional $90 for parts. They had phoned because the total was $215, above the $200 threshold I had given them. I gladly approved. They completed the work satisfactorily and phoned me again to get the credit card information for payment. All in all, a most satisfactory experience.

Oak called 2nd but came next day/ UN-prepared to do either repair or water test (requested on phone) or even replace with ready new ADA toilet that the lying receptionist booker said they have “some in stock and if not he will show a catalog of choices”. Guy came punctually with Nzo tools or appliances Or knowledge of what I asked for as an “URGENT repair/replace”. See ABC review same call. Not quite as bad as them doing same since we also still have broken HVAC too, both said they would fix ( I bought gasket already, they could have put in) or replace if they brought new toilet. Problem is not in water pipes except they need testing for lead - both said they would do this too - when I asked oak re taking a sample, how long sitting in pipes? He wiped off his soda water bottle and asked “which pipes?” !!

The previous owner of the house was a handyman; the not so good kind. I wanted to install a water softener. Under the house were no less than five different joints where he had used sticky packing and pipe clamps to "fix" bad joints. So this was the time to get it all fixed. The guys came in, took pictures under the house, showed me exactly what they would be doing, and gave me good prices. I got a large amount of the piping under the house replaced, got new pluming in the garage for the water softener plus wash tub plus washing machine (wonderful work, down right pretty work), got a shower control replaced, got a new faucet and valves for a bathroom sink, and a new outdoor bib to replace a leaky old one. I am happy. Well worth the money.

It was excellent and outstanding. Their service was timely and great and if there's ever a problem, they come right back and fix it. Dave was incredible.

They were really prompt and Danny was awesome in helping replace a lot of bad pipes and also install the water softener.

I needed to filter the water. I was getting tired of my faucet filter, so I'm happy with that. They did a real good job. They cleaned up well after themselves, and they did it without any real interruption to things that were going on around the house.

Eduardo and Jorge came out and did some minor plumbing to two shower systems and a water filter underneath our kitchen sink. They were courteous and got the job done on budget on time. I really appreciated the fact that they put coverings on their shoes to keep our carpets clean. Also they went above and beyond the call of duty and helped me carry a giant TV set from the upstairs all the way down to the garage, just as a favor to be gentlemen. I will definitely order this deal again the next time I have ANY plumbing issues. Thank you!

I have a springwell water filtration system. As I am not able to open the prefilter tank, I ask Bailey Plumbing for help. Chris Graves came to my house on time and fixed the problem in a few minutes. He also explained to me how to release the water pressure before opening the tank. All in all, Chris did a great job. I recommend him to everyone that needs their service.

The service was great. Everything worked out fine. There was a minor leak in the system and they came back right away to fix the issue. I was very happy with their responsiveness.

The technician arrived on time and was friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose and repair an issue outside the scope of the original request for an additional charge, but it was fair and the work was performed quickly and efficiently.

Plumber first said hot water faucet had pressure from under-sink hot water tank to the faucet, so "something" was wrong with the faucet itself. This seemed very strange to us, as the instant hot water only stopped working after we changed the filter. Apparently our only option was to buy a new faucet. He also was going to install a new toilet, but it was shipped to our house broken, so, nothing to install. Got a new faucet, a second new unbroken toilet, had the plumber come back. Installed hot water faucet, installed new toilet. Hot water faucet leaks constantly and is unusable. I think this is a problem with the faucet itself, but I still have a non-function instant hot water system which I used to love. So for the work done I felt it was very expensive, and to top it off, still no instant hot water.

I found a tiny leak in a water pipe in my ceiling. When they came the first time (they were pretty late that time), they couldn't find the leak, but they didn even charge me! I got the leak to start leaking again that night and called them and left a message. The very next morning, Jaciel called me and they were here 1/2 an hour later. Fantastic customer service and not expensive! Would definitely use them again.

We woke up this morning to find our water heater was not working. The pilot light was out and we could not get it to lite. I had an appointment this morning and could not call Water Heaters Masters until around 12:30pm. I was told that someone would be at our house today between 2-4. Jorge showed up at 3:30, and had the part in his truck to replace the pilot light assembly. He had to take the heating unit apart to repair it and was done in about 45 minutes. Jorge was very professional, personable, and competent. We will definitely call them if we have any problems in the future. Great service and a pleasure to work with!!!

The experience was positive. The guy knew what he was doing and cleaned up after himself. He did a good job.

THEY DID THEIR JOB VERY WELL AND IN A TIMELY MANNER. DID NOT HURT PLANTS IN OUR FRONT YARD WHEN THEY WERE WORKING INSTALLING THE NEW PIPE. CLEANED UP AREA NICELY WHEN FINISHED THEIR WORK.

Have used them ever since we stopped American Home Shield. Bayshore Plumbers have been terrific. They've installed a whole home water softener for us as well as cleaned out drains every 3 months (tree root issues). Highly recommend!

I moved into a house that already had water conditioner and water purifyer. Phone number on water conditioner had Assured Water Products phone number. I called to inquire about service because I did not know anything about the products. The office personel were very professional and patient to explain what I had and what the cost was to service/repair it. They scheduled an appointment to come out that week and the serviceman showed up on time, thats unusual for most servicemen I have dealt with. He explained how the products worked, changed the filters and totally cleaned both the water conditioner and purifyer. He made some adjustments to the products for no additional cost and even gave me a senior discount, without me asking for it. This company is definately one I would do business with again.

Called about an audible leak under my house. I called Stanton plumbing after another plumber had issues with some animal droppings near the repair site then recommended a water damage team to clean the area to clear the droppings and potential damage to the structure for added cost of $2900. Thanks but no thanks. The folks at Stanton scheduled an appointment later in the day, a Sunday and Patrick arrived earlier than scheduled, surveyed the damage and offered an hourly rate that was extremely reasonable. He also noticed a potential second problem and included that repair within the hourly rate. He took special precautions with cleanliness and safety covering the path from outside to my crawl space and when the job was done he cleaned the area thoroughly. He even cleaned up after another plumber who had done a similar repair previously who left plastic wrappers and plastic sheeting under my house. I will certainly use Stanton Plumbing again and recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing services!
