Population Problem

Filed under: politics, social — Tags: — Hailin @ 8:41 pm

One of the biggest problems in the U.S. is the rapid population growth.  U.S.  population has grown from 75 million in 1900 to over 300 million today, quadrupling it over the  past 100 years. By the same rate, by 2100, the population will reach 1.2 billion, and it will be a nightmare -there will be land crisis, food shortage, and water crisis, to name a few.

Sadly no political party or politician is willing to confront this issue, as the act of controlling  population growth is reminiscent of brutal one-child per family policy or Nazi’s eugenics practices.  Politicians needs votes from anti-abortion and immigration rights groups to get elected, thus they will gladly shun away from the real issue.

When God promised that he will surely multiply Abraham’s offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand on the seashore, I bet there were little people on this planet.  Today the promise is a reality. So what can we do before the problem gets so worse that we can only rely on salvation itself?  Low birthrate and stop illegal immigration.  In my view, the recent 1.2 billion dollar great wall of America is worth every penny.
