Sonos Radio is an integrated service that brings the best of Sonos and partner services into one place, making it easier to listen to live radio and discover new music on your system from an assortment of our own ad-supported original stations. Sonos Radio HD is a subscription tier that unlocks high-definition audio, access to more exclusive original content, unlimited skips, and ad-free music. Both services are available exclusively on Sonos as part of the app.
How much do Sonos Radio and Sonos Radio HD cost?
Sonos Radio is free on your Sonos system. Sonos Radio HD costs $7.99/month plus applicable tax after your free trial.
How do I access Sonos Radio?

Which products support Sonos Radio and Sonos Radio HD?
You can enjoy Sonos Radio with any Sonos product. For Sonos Radio HD, you must be using the Sonos S2 app and operating system. Most Sonos products are compatible with S2. You can check our Sonos S2 Compatibility article for a list of products.
What audio quality does Sonos Radio HD support?
Sonos Radio HD relies on FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) to stream audio files. FLAC is a file format, similar to MP3. However, while MP3 files are compressed to decrease file size and remove extra details, FLAC offers lossless CD-quality audio with all of the details intact. This enables Sonos Radio HD to deliver 16-bit/44.1 kHz audio, up to double the bitrate of standard streaming services, for all Sonos-owned and operated stations.
How do I know when I’m getting HD audio?
All our original stations will include a Sonos Radio HD badge. HD audio quality will also be indicated on the Now Playing screen.
How can I manage or cancel my Sonos Radio HD subscription?
