Description
This plugin let you add file types to the default list of file extensions
supported by the Media Library upload procedure.
Installation
- Create the directory wp-extra-file-types in your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
- Upload all the plugin’s file to the newly created directory
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

Wow, reviews here seem to go mainly to extremes, 5 stars or 1 star, not so much in between. So I installed this carefully, and read the instructions carefully, ticked the right boxes and Hey Presto! Everything worked! No problems!
So yes, from me also, just simply 5 stars.

I tried a few other plugins to transfer users before this and they didn't work. This one did the trick fast. I wish I found it first.

Useless. Didn't work at all for .woff files.

I previously tried editing wp-config.php as well as adding a filter to my functions.php, but neither worked. This plugin did the trick, just remember to go to the plugin settings and toggle the extensions you want to upload.
