Cannot Download WordPress.com Export Media Library

    Whenever I try to download

    Tools –> Export –> Export Media Library

    The download gets interrupted in the middle and quits. When I tried to use download manager Chrome plugin like DownloadThemAll, it still starts the download from beginning and quits in the middle.

    I tried to follow every step in another related forum post but still failed to download completely;

    I noticed when the WordPress.com staff gave the asker a direct link via Email to download, it worked for them. And since that forum post is closed for any new replies, I am posting a new thread in a hope someone will help me.

    Btw, the size of my “Export Media Library” is 1.2GB.

    Please note that you’ve posted in an entirely different forum. There are no WordPress.com staff here (at least not working in that capacity). Due to the differences between the free hosted blogs offered at wordpress.com and the self-hosted and self-installed version of WordPress supported here, you should ask WordPress.com Support instead.
