I was having trouble with Jetpack messing up anything more complicated than a basic contact form and looked at a few other plugins, all of which required subscription. I had thought CF7 seemed a bit complicated, but once you get your head around the tags formatting, it’s really very easy to use, and very versatile; which encouraged me to set up even more complicated forms than I’d previously used.
An excellent and essential plugin, huge thanks to the developer.
