Innovation is fostered by information gathered from new connections; from insights gained by journeys into other disciplines or places; from active, collegial networks and fluid, open boundaries. Innovation arises from ongoing circles of exchange, where information is not just accumulated or stored, but created. Knowledge is generated anew from connections that weren't there before. —Meg Wheatley

About me

Hello from Toronto, Canada! As an avid proponent of the free knowledge movement, I've been contributing to Wikimedia projects since 2006, and have fulfilled numerous volunteer roles on English Wikipedia including administrator, bureaucrat, and Arbitration Committee member, and as a global renamer under the username Xeno.

My work

My current major projects involve facilitating discussions about the Universal Code of Conduct and the Movement Charter. You can share feedback with me on my talk page, via email, or at a community venue by adding a notification.

Disclaimer: I work for or provide services to the Wikimedia Foundation, and this is the account I try to use for edits or statements I make in that role.
