OpenClimate community call: August 31, 2021
For the past several months, a small collective focused on "open" topics (knowledge, access, data, hardware, etc) have been convening a series of monthly "Open Climate" calls. We're hosting the fifth call on Tuesday, August 31 at 14:00UTC/10ET. If you're interested in joining, please register to receive the Zoom link. You can find more information on the call series here: https://www.appropedia.org/OpenClimate.

The internet is the world's largest coal-powered machine. It is increasingly controlled by a few tech companies and is under threat of becoming a monoculture. This call will focus on how we can speed up the transition towards a fossil-free internet by 2030. It will be facilitated by Michelle Thorne of Mozilla and Branch Magazine in conversation with Chris Adams of the Green Web Foundation.
