AmazonJS displays Amazon products on your WordPress posts and pages. AmazonJS adds a search form to WordPress post form. Then you can search Amazon products by keyword, ASIN or URL, and add shortcode or html to your post from results of search.

AmazonJS uses `amazonjs’ shortcode and jQuery template to display Amazon products. View the work data at runtime, Javascript allows various representations. AmazonJS has some template to Amazon products for each Product Group, it can how to display the different Amazon products, such as books and music.

Using Amazon Product Advertising API

AmazonJS requires Amazon Product Advertising API
in order to get Amazon product information from ASIN or keyword.
Thus, you have to sign up Amazon Product Advertising API and specify your Access Key and Secret Access Key.
And you must set your associate tags for Amazon Associates also.

Shortcode

AmazonJS adds a media link above an editor in the editing post page. The form that searches an Amazon product is shown when you click it. AmazonJS adds a simple html code (like WP-amazon) or an amazonjs shortcode from form.

AmazonJS supports the `amazonjs’ shortcode.

ex)

  • asin: (required) ASIN (ProductID of Amazon)
  • locale: (required) US, UK, DE, FR, JP, CA, CN, IT or ES
  • tmpl: (optional) Small. if tmpl is empty, apply a template via Product Group of Amazon Product Advertising API.
  • title: (optional) It will be used for loading message.
  • imgsize: (optional) Thumbnail image size. small, medium or large.

Display by javascript

In first, AmazonJS converts tag from amazonjs short code in server side. Second, in window.load, amazonjs.js (it is added by plugin) will replace tag with formatted html to display Amazon Product by using jQuery template.

  1. Upload amazonjs to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress
  3. Set your associate tags and your keys of the Product Advertising API through the Settings > Amazonjs menu in WordPress

i must give it 2 stars, the way it shows the products is not the best, its a bit odd andd i dont like it at all, but the worst thing is the fact you can't select multiple items at same time, you must go one by one! nha, that defeats by any mean to have a floating search box to select the products, needs improvements, not bad plugins, but not as expected,

Nice (and Simple) Little Plugin!

I was looking for something like the old Amazon widget for Blogger from a decade or so ago. A simple little widget that could be activated within a blog post with a simple click of a button on the editor toolbar. One like this for WordPress has been difficult to find, but I'm extremely happy I stumbled across this one. This plugin not only fits the bill nicely, but is simple to use and manages to look beautiful in the process! And the option to use a traditional review widget or a product image is a huge plus! I will most certainly continue to use this widget and hopefully it will serve my current blog well in the months and years to come!

I have used the AmazonJS plugin for about 2.5 years and made small sales with 5000 visitors per month. Now I have exchanged the plugin for another and suddenly do the same thing on sales a day as with AmazonJS a month. Bye AmazonJS

i have to confess: this is truely one of the very best WordPress Amazon-Associate plugins. Super easy to use and super-super powerful. You can do alot with this plugin. I have tried other solutions but this is as to close perfect as we have found, It offers everything we wanted so far so, and if we need more there are paid extensions at reasonable cost. I ve testet many ones; here some features that have convinced me: The installation of AmazonJS is easy - the first steps were done in a few minutes: you do not have to worry about it nor trouble to do such repetitive tasks.
