What we're about

Let’s gather! This is a group for people who love yoga, meditation, spirituality, and inner growth (or those who want to learn more!) We practice yoga together in the park, meditate together on hikes, and hold discussions about personal growth. We are curious and we are all beginners. Welcome! ✨

Halloween Mortality/Gratitude Meditation

Sunset Park - 5th Avenue between 41st and 44th. Exact meeting place TBD

Join us this Halloween at Sunset Park in Brooklyn for a Mortality/Gratitude Meditation. 🎃

This meditation is inspired by Tantric Buddhist practices that focus on preparing the mind to fully embrace the experience of death that we all have the opportunity to someday meet. 🪦

Accepting and even holding the knowledge of death as a companion can make clear what is worth cultivating in life. This practice is meant to encourage each individual to explore their relationship with death. 👻

Memento mori, Latin for “Remember your death,” will be an underpinning of this experience, ushering in more expansive space to enjoy a meaningful and beautiful life.

“If you die before you die, you won’t die when you die.”
Inscription over a door at St. Paul’s Monastery on Mt. Athos. Originally in Greek.
