WPUK organises and coordinates informal gatherings of WordPress publishers, designers and developers based in the United Kingdom.

The activities of WPUK are co-ordinated by the Core Group.

Since 2008 WPUK has produced a WordPress weekend unconference in the UK.

Discussion takes place on WPUK Discuss and
Twitter.

WPUK has:

• a listing of UK WordPress events
• a policy of not promoting or seeking support from organisations in violation of the WordPress License
• anti-harassment, refunds and media release policies for WPUK events
• the status of an unincorporated association
• a zero VAT rate on event tickets because WPUK is not VAT registered
• a constitution

WPUK was known as WordCamp UK before February 2012.
