CSV Import Issue

Hi,

Having difficulty with a CSV import.

It originally froze very early on, So i cleared all products and went to go again.

Since doing this it will not import any items, Just keeps spinning for hours and hours and not a single product is imported.

Any idea what on earth I’m doing wrong?

i have triple checked the CSV file and all is fine, and its obviously confirmed further by the fact it did actually begin to import.

Hi @elfedw,

There could be a conflict or server resources issue causing the import not to run successfully.

If possible, could you disable all plugins apart from WooCommerce and change to a default WP theme like Twenty Twenty-One then try importing while on this basic setup?

* You may first try doing this on a test/staging site. If you don’t have one already, your hosting company might offer one as part of your package. Alternatively, you can use a free plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/

If the import still faces issues while on the above configuration, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Thanks for the status report! Unfortunately I don’t see anything there that stands out as a problem. 🙁

Are you willing to share the CSV you’re using so we can test this out on our end? If it works OK for us, that’d be a pretty solid indicator that the issue may be something with your server or hosting environment.
