Support » Plugin: Tainacan » JS file is being blocked

  • Hi @leogermani,

We had issues with items not showing up, so we re-installed the plugin, it worked for a few hours and then stopped.

We had a look at the File Quarantine on the hosting provider, and noticed that the file “user_search-components.js” is being deleted via ClamAV. Apparently the file is bing detected as being infected. Which is very strange. I even dowloaded the ZIP file and manually uploaded the file, it still gets blocked

    “ClamAV detected virus = [Html.Exploit.CVE_2017_0011-5752098-0]
    ../wp-content/plugins/tainacan/assets/user_search-components.js”

Do you have any suggestions we could try? We have asked the hosting company to whitelist this file and the entire plugin directory, and are waiting for them. However, if you have any suggestions let us know.

I can see that version 0.16 will be out soon! Looking forward to seeing it in action!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @ssastrodev,

Thank you so much for the detailed report.

This is new to us and we already started investigating. This is most likely due to some of the js libraries we depend on.

We will ensure that the new 0.16 version goes out without this problem! Until then, it would be great if you could whitelist it as you’re trying.

    thank you!

    Hi @leogermani,

We asked the hosting company to whitelist the file. They emailed back and they did that.

However, as soon as we upload it again, the server deletes the file.
The interesting thing is that, it happens even if the plugin is inactive.

I thought that would be useful information to help the development team.
