About the role

Angi Compliance and Operations team is seeking a licensed Responsible Master Plumber to join one of the most recognizable home services brands in North America. This position is a unique opportunity for a plumbing professional looking to join the tech sector.  The role is part of Angi’s exciting expansion into managing projects for consumers.  

What you'll do

  • Ensure the company’s compliance with the RMP licensing requirements
  • Assist in managing plumbing projects for Angi’s customers, including ensuring that all work by subcontractors meets compliance standards
  • Take primary responsibility for developing a scalable process for tracking subcontractors’ qualifications, insurance, and licensure in Texas and possibly other states as well 

Who you are

  • Currently licensed as a Responsible Master Plumber in Texas (Required)
  • In good standing with the TSBPE
  • Knowledge of Texas plumbing codes, ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference materials
  • Electrical and HVAC experience is a plus 
  • Familiar with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets)
  • Must be able to communicate to cross-functional management in concise, easily understood terms
  • Ability to handle confidential data with appropriate discretion
  • Excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills
  • Top-notch organizational skills
  • Proven ability to meet reporting deadlines with quality, speed, and accuracy
  • Strong work ethic and sense of accountability and integrity
  • US Work Authorization (Required)
  • Drivers License (Preferred)
  • Solid customer service focus and ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams across the organization
  • Self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, resolve problems and drive projects to completion
  • Trustworthy, positive, energetic, optimistic attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
