Comcast Corporation has more Pay TV subscribers than any other provider, with 18.99 million pay TV subscribers. The number of subscribers has slipped significantly during this period, with no provider having more than 20 million subscribers, and a total subscriber base of 71.03 million people.

AT&T;’s acquisition of DirecTV in July of 2015 did not have a direct impact in the volume of subscriptions, as DirecTV has been able to maintain its number of subscribers fairly consistently.
