UCI Listed as Best Workplace for Commuters

UCI Transportation was honored by the Best Workplace for Commuters for the 13^th consecutive year with its Race to Excellence Award. The National Center for Transit Research has identified UCI as one of the top universities in advancing customer-focused transportation services, including vanpool, carpool, and other transit options.

UCI Ranked #2 in Green Garage Contest

For the inaugural award, 100 Best Fleets awarded UCI Transportation and Distribution Services for its exemplary work in showcasing environmentally committed fleet practices and comprehensive measures to support the “green the maintenance garage” movement while providing a roadmap for other maintenance facilities.

UCI is 10 for 10 in 2020!

UCI has been competing in RecycleMania each year for 10 years and has maintained its Top 10 ranking, each year. UCI has sealed its position in the top 5% of the nation again. In this year’s RecycleMania, our rank in the national standing is seventh overall in the Diversion Category.

Committees

Following committees are chaired by the CFO and Vice Chancellor.

Naturescape Advisory Committee

The Naturescape Advisory Committee provides guidance on the role of campus open space resources, collectively referred to as UCI’s “Naturescape.”

Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC)

Seeks the advice and counsel from a diverse group of community members regarding issues that impact the safety and quality of life of students, faculty, staff, and visitors of UCI and the medical center.

Laboratory Safety Committee

The Laboratory Safety Committee (LSC) is charged with continuously improving and fostering the lab safety culture at UCI.

Project will include dry research, instructional, student support, as well as academic and administrative office space, including a small food service facility.

Project will include dry research, instructional, student support, as well as academic and administrative office space, including a small food service facility.

UCI Medical Center in Irvine

State-of-the-art medical complex on the northern edge of UCI, along Jamboree Road near Campus Drive. Complex includes a 144-bed acute-care hospital, an ambulatory care center and a cancer center.
