    PSA: If you need a really fast external SSD, this is a crazy good deal for Amazon prime members. I have a couple already; they are crazy fast (around 1 gigabyte per second) but I think I paid like $300 and $250 for them. $119 is a great deal, especially during a chip shortage

    I firmly believe there are way way WAY more good than bad people in infosec. We have an amazing set of professional communities. It truly is a few bad apples. However, too few people speak up and stop those chucklenuts’ actions. We have to cut the cancer out.

    Ray, to give a correct answer, I started using SSD 1986. That's a Cray Research CRAY-XMP supercomputer with the SSD being on the left. The black bar is the I/O channel to the SSD. I didn't start writing device drivers involving the SSD until 1991. 1 GB with 2 GByte/sec channels.
